Chestnut Brae Farm reviews
10Chestnut Brae is a beautiful escape, the house has so much character and we loved being surrounded by the lush hills, animals and there is so much to explore.
This farmhouse is a fantastic secluded place for a weekend getaway.while you have a beautiful view to enjoy a local wine you can also get the best organic products from the farm itself.
We had a great experience walking the orchid and picking out chestnuts. Be sure to wear good footwear. Massive orchid and we were pleased to find out it was an organic farm. So many chestnut products to purchase and a tour of how the farm manufactures its produce. We shall be back
Love our time there! John was excellent in guiding us around the place. Never had I learned so much about chestnuts!
A lovely farm stay experience. John and Linda are great hosts, the spacious cottage is delightful and meticulously clean. We really enjoyed the tour of Chestnut Brae and came home with lots of lovely goodies from the farm shop. A perfect spot to unwind and relax away from it all.
Stunning gardens and a lovely farmstay. Such a beautiful place to visit. Farmshop has an impressive array of chestnut themed goodies and John and Linda are very knowledgeable and welcoming hosts.
A visit to this farm was a fun and educative experience. Linda was friendly, accommodating and insightful as she shared her farm’s journey into becoming the great farm it is today:)
What a lovely day. I look forward to returning during harvest next year.
One of the amazing farm stay to do in WA. The location is lovely and peaceful and the host John & Linda are nice. Very relaxing place and its 3 hours driving from Perth. Great family holiday place with cute animals and with Chestnut picking.
Hosts Linda and John went out if their way to make our SlowFood visit a delicious and noteworthy occasion. Their farm produce, chestnuts, pork, mushrooms and other value added products made this farm tour into a unique gourmet treat. Cant wait to come here again for the chestnut picking.
