Chequers Hotel

Super stay! Tidy rooms, of a good old fashioned size and construction.solid build with only a small amt maintenance needed. Clean, tidy and with good amenities. Small but very handy kitchen. Quiet, dark and far enough from the highway to not interrupt a good nights sleep. Will I stay again? I hope so. Next time I hope the grill will be open.

Beautiful bar and grill, the staff are friendly and very welcoming. The cocktails and steak are made to perfection. Very affordable and the proportions are amazing for the price.

Being there Sunday, food was big portions and reasonable price.
Barman and staff where so friendly 110 plus happy. Well done to all concerned.

Food and service is usually really great but our last visit was quite disappointing. Started off ordering one drink and was forgotten about the entire visit until I finally said something and they brought it out - it wasn’t exactly busy. Shortage of staff didn’t help as they didn’t come check if any of our food was okay which the mains weren’t really… The Parmi was not cooked properly with some bits still pink, and what was meant to be the crumbed bits was super wet and soggy. My partner literally ate the cooked sides and the cheese/ham off the top. What a waste. The ribs were lovely but the onion rings that came with it basically tasted like fried dough and no onion. At the end we asked to pay for our own orders each and that was ignored and they split the bill straight in half, not what we asked for. Not the service and quality we are used to, but still a nice place to go. Hopefully the team does better in the future.

Randomly pulled in for dinner after Outback Splash. Family friendly restaurant, set out beautifully. All our meals were excellent and all the wait / bar staff were very polite and made the evening a pleasure.

Pulled in after a ride on the bike and was served by Casey. The service and and beer was fantastic. Bar is clean and friendly. Fantastic food and service.

Excellent service, food was outstanding. What a massive improvement from the last time we visited. New management maybe keep up the great work.

Amazing bar and grill! Family friendly, friendly staff, excellent service, great food and the cleanest toilets I've ever seen in a bar and grill.
I order a medium rare steak and it was cooked perfectly. My partner ordered a buttermilk chicken burger and it was delicious.
A little pricey, but well worth it!

When you move to Bullsbrook, you can be stuck for options which I believe is the cost of peace and quiet. Luckily the few options that are here usually hit the spot like the Red roof.

The staff here are always friendly and seem to learn the locals. The servings are proper country pub size and really tasty.

My only criticism would be wait times. I'm a guy who isn't bothered if I am told food will be an hour or more. Most of the time we will get takeaway, so I am quite happy to just wait at home longer.
Issue is most of the time I get down there after being told 20 minutes, I usually find myself waiting another 15-20 mins inside. No big deal but like I said, I'd rather just be told a longer time. They do offer a drink while you wait but I have never taken it as I wasn't sure if it was complimentary or not?

Last thing is the curry night. Great idea with no Indian restaurant nearby and the food is delicious. Only thing is it has been put on a Monday night. With the Chinese being closed and Indian food as the only option both falling on Monday's, it sort of pushes you to either a kebab or a drive to Ellenbrook if you are not feeling like Indian.

Other than that, I am super grateful we have a decent pub down the road. Takeaway does not mean portions take a hit, you still get the same amount of everything at the same price and quality. They are busy all the time for a reason. I have never stayed in the accommodation as I live locally so can't comment on that.

Absolutely amazing food and very good sized portions the whole family thoroughly enjoyed every meal this night even the fussy kids, The pizzas are incredible and have generous amounts of toppings, The pricing is on par with other establishments however the food here is of a much better quality I very highly recommend that everyone try the food here also the staff we're brilliant all night and very accommodating to our needs.

Myself and family visited the Chequers hotel for some food on our way home, and I have to say, the staff here couldn’t of been any nicer and helpful. The young lady Chelsea that seated us and served us was one of the nicest wait staff. My fiancé is lactose intolerant, we asked if it was possible for the chief to make either a pizza or Parmi with vegan cheese.
Chelsea went and asked the chief and they made it happen, Chelsea also managed to get me a bowl of onion rings that were no longer on the menu.
The whole experience at Chequers, from having a drink in the sports bar, getting a table without booking, to the food was outstanding!
The food was brilliant and very filling and everything was very reasonably priced.
We’ll definitely be returning! Chelsea is a credit to the brand.

Wow! I was so happy to walk in and see the place decked out with classic Christmas decorations! It took me straight back to being a kid and my nephew also absolutely loved posting his letter to Santa. The service was fantastic along with the food and the atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely evening!

The Owner's Have Done Very Well In Keeping Resteration As Close To Original As Possible The Barman Was Friendly Polite And Willing To Help The Hotel Has A Relaxed Feeling About It

Stayed during end July/August for a couple of nights. Room was clean and tidy and the service, breakfasts and evening meals were very good value for money. The steak pie I had was thick crust pastry, made on site and comparable to my late mother. Thank you for making my stay a delight to all staff at Chequers. See you next time I visit my family in the UK from Australia.
