Chemist Warehouse Southern River

Usually the staff is helpful but seems they are not trained enough. We order online to click and collect so as to avoid getting in queue in the store but the person there directed us at the back of queue with people waiting to pay for their goods.

They do have a separate click and collect counter but still they asked us to stand at the back of queue with people having items in hand waiting to pay for them. Disappointed.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The pharmacist today was awesome in her advice and informing me about the medication I was getting on prescription. She even spoke of Beyond Blue and alike if I need to turn towards somebody to talk to at any time. She went beyond the call of duty so as to speak and I really appreciate the time she gave me whilst picking up my prescription.

If you are in a hurry, AVOID this place. I give this one star as they really need to lift their game in the back script area.

It is HORRENDOUS for waiting times.

I used the app to order my script last time, was told it was ready, went down - nothing on file, 'we don't have your script here' 'me - 'you messaged me to tell me it was there'. 'You will need to go to your doctor and get another refill'. Um. 'I had 5 repeats left! ' Their reply, 'oh our system plays a bit of catch up'. I keep all my boxes and they are wrong, my numbers were decreasing after each fill and the last said, I had 5 left, so what the? So that cost me to go back to the doctor!

Every single time I've gone in, I've waited up to 20 mins JUST to be served (at the back at one counter) when no one else was there and they go about their way out the back - usually 3 or so there (that's only where you drop your script off) then you have the same wait if not MORE at the end where you pick it up (well, that's my lunchtime gone), then sometimes a little wait at the front if there's a queue (that doesn't bother me as much but mostly it's one till open).

It's appalling as it's a beautiful chemist and has everything you want, it's clean, although no testers most of the time. Great selection in most areas, not so much the cosmetic line, the front area where you are served, they're usually very lovely, but the script area, this is what will stop me bring my scripts back here.

I am done and today being the 5th time this has happened in 5 months means I will drive a wee bit further (probably quicker to drive to Mandurah and back lol) and go to Armadale or Gosnells as they are way quicker. I won't be back unless they lift their game but this has been months and months.

Tried to tell me a medication I take was only for citizens on PBS and because I use a private script they wouldn't dispense it. Went to another pharmacy a minute down the road who had no issues selling it and confirmed there was definitely no shortage of it anymore.

Shop became shut before 8pm. I knocked the door and show the time (7.58pm). The arrogant guy from inside told me that its closed. They don't even open for counter medication. They shoud leave open till 8 as per their trading hours.

The slowest place to go to get scripts. Three times now and between 30-45 minute wait. Staff unhelpful. Click and collect makes you wait and wait. Products show in store online but not available when you go there and staff don’t care. Definitely not going back

Ridiculous service & never have enough testers for expensive perfumes.
How one can buy $100 perfume without trying it. Happened couple of times here before

Recently opened. Located in the new Southern River Square Shopping Centre with plenty of carparking out front with about half undercover. The store is larger than it seems with a wide range and cheap prices. Sometimes it can be a bit difficult to find what you are looking for but the staff are friendly and helpful who find your the product and not just point to a aisle number.

Excellent in service and stock availability.
Friendly and very helpful staffs.
Great price and variety of items.
Plenty of parking.
Conveniently located within the New Southern River Shopping Centre.
With a medical Centre next door (gp & blood collection place)

I have ordered through online bulk of vitamins. But one vitamin close expiry. In their online system have no space to make comments also. It is not mentioned expire date in their website. I tried to exchange next day but one male gentleman let me all stock came same expirery date. If available he will exchsnge. Then I ask for refund. He mentioned we can't resale returned product according to their policy. But my problem if they have long expir quantity how can exchange my returns? If they have long expiry they will easily exchange and sale it again to others. I have understood they have two policy for exachange and refunds. It so crazy. I never goback there again.

My husband and I visited the Southern River store today and was wanting some information on the best Probiotics for our needs so asked a staff member (Reha I think was his name) for some help. Wow what a great guy, he was full of helpful information polite and attentive. I had to wait for him to finish helping an elderly lady who when finished thanked him so much for taking the time help her.
This definitely is going to be my regular Chemist Warehouse in the future.

Waiting for 20 minutes for someone to show up and serve me for a otc item.
Also the aisles are so small and narrow makes it hard to move past people without bumping into them.

Standing at counter for at least 20 mins waiting to be served with a toddler. More staff than customers

Always have good quantity of stock available and often 1 or 2 of the items hard to find in the other chemist warehouse stores. Friendly service and super clean and organised!

Lovely staff and clean store. Very helpful and great service from Lachlan (with the curly hair) who went above and beyond today.
