Chase Dance

Amanda is brilliant and taught us to dance to our chosen song in 4 lessons despite both of us not having any dance experience. You can tell she really thought about how the choreography could work with the song, with certain moves coinciding with certain words in the lyrics. They were also moves that were easy for non-dancers but looked great. She was very patient and encouraging throughout the process, and answered any questions we had. When we realised we would not be able to remember or learn 2: 52 minutes worth of moves as we had initially planned, Amanda provided some useful suggestions on how we can cut and edit the song to make it work. We decided to engage her services to edit our song and she got it done within a day. We loved the end result and we reckon so did our wedding guests!

Amanda was amazing and made it easy for us to learn our first dance song over 4 weekly appointments. She customised our first dance to suit our first dance song and took videos of us dancing to help with our dancing homework. She is located in Morley, which was great for us, living only 10mins away. Amanda is an amazing teacher. She is very patient, fun and friendly. Even on our first lesson, we can learn the dance comfortably. She taught us step by step patiently until we get used to it. My partner and I (now wife) chose Chase Dancing to learn a dance for our wedding day. Amanda is a brilliant dance teacher, she was able to teach us a whole 2 minute routine in 4 lessons. I could tell she really had put in effort with thinking about the moves that worked best with the song we chose for our first dance. It was a slow gentle song and she chose flowing moving that worked well with the music, were easy to learn and remember, but importantly looked great on camera. It was a truly special moment dipping my wife on the dance floor, thank you Amanda, we couldn't have done it without you!

Amanda choreographed an amazing dance to our chosen song. Moves were exactly what we were after, not too performative but a few fun dips and lifts to make for an entertaining dance and some great photos. Highly recommend for any couples looking to make their first dance special.

Amanda is a fantastic dancing instructor and we would highly recommend her services! She helped us develop from having zero dancing experience to being able to perform a beautifully choreographed first dance at our wedding. She has a keen eye for seeing where we have difficulty with our dance moves and can clearly and patiently explain in layman's terms on the little things we need to do to perfect them.

Amanda was so well organised and the best teacher, she really listened to our song and planned the whole dance around the style of music it definitely wasn’t just a copy paste of a generic wedding dance!
