Chapters excels of quality customer service by most staff here, with just a couple of staff not so good.
Food quality is amazing and consistent most of the time.
Weekly specials including their famous Sunday roasts with huge Yorkshire pudding.
Definitely best to book ahead of time to secure a booking.

Very disappointed. The Roast dinner looked amazing, however two small slice of Beef were very fatty, weird mix of cabbage and peas not quite seasonal vegatable you would expect, Roast potatoes/carrots were hard and tasteless. The gravy might as well been brown water. Yorkshire pudding was good.

My Grandma and I stopped in here for lunch today and the food was phenomenal. We each had a roast (chicken and beef), the servings sizes are huge and the food is delicious. 10/10 would recommend! All staff were so lovely and friendly also!

An absolute gem of a restaurant. Sunday lunch was fantastic and even though they had staff call in sick which put pressure on them all, the food came out quickly and was delicious. They checked on us regularly and all staff (that made it to work that day!) were amazing! Thanks for making my husbands birthday lunch a real treat!

Incredible food, amazing service (with beautiful friendly staff) and cozy atmosphere. Had the mushroom gnocchi and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. There is nothing I would have changed about our experience at Chapters Thank you guys for a lovely night

Trouble finding something for me to eat as I have food allergies husband was happy with his meal, our waitress was very helpful but can not say a nice thing about the French male who acts like a Maitre'd said we had no booking which was not correct we booked a week ago and even had the text to confirm.don't think we will be coming back
they don't cater for people with food allergies.

Scrumptious meals and exceptional friendly service… brilliant recommendations on wines to match your meal. Highly recommend! Thanks for the surprise Happy Birthday plate tonight, mum was over the moon! Very thoughtful

Again another lovely meal. We had the beef cheeks and they were amazing. Great staff, Great food and a great atmosphere. Going again on Sunday for their famous roast.

Great service, welcoming, friendly and attentive staff. Extensive menu. Reasonable prices.
I had the Goat Cheese souffle with pear and walnut salad. Delicious.
My sweetheart had the Roast of the day, lamb was tender and flavoursome.
Our friend had the Fish and Chips. Fish cooked perfectly. Delicious dish.
All the dishes were of generous portion.
I had the sticky date pudding. Scrumptious
We will definitely return to try the other goodies on the menu

Excessive amount of fries with the steak but all in all, not bad.
Our waitress was an absolute gem. Attentive, non invasive and managed her tables professionally.

Had farewell dinner with work friends. Don’t waste your $. Unfortunately cant recommend this place.

First time here, grabbed a couple of specials - steak & fries & carbonara.
Really delicious and great value $20 each.
The best thing was the sparkling customer service. They should give lessons to other establishments!

Food is good when I go, but it's popular place at night. Be prepared to wait for your food.

Staff & Management ruined a lovely evening with their petty rude behaviour. Group of 10 booked farewell dinner for colleague. Food was enjoyable. 3 couldn’t make it at last minute. Emergency on call, sick child etc.all legitimate reasons. Charged $20 for each person not there. Blindsided as nowhere in writing this was advised on arrival!? As a table spent close to $500. No not good enough let’s make a big scene and demand payment of the $20 each PENALTY! Greedy Rude and disgusting people! Don’t bother with this place. Oh forgot that a waitress knocked a watermelon cocktail all over the boss and his wife. Accidents happen I understand this however in light of this wouldn’t you as management calmly allow the night to pass without further drama? Nope. Will never go there again. Working in customer service myself this is NOT how to get repeat business!

Wow - fantastic food here, good service. Acoustically there was a lot of noise, and the chairs could benefit from a bit of padding but couldn't fault the food. One person from our table had a issue with their meal not arriving at the same time as everyone else's, and they apologised straight away and said she would not be charged for it. Great service. Definitely recommend the garlic cob loaf, so good, which our large table shared with an antipasto platter. We had the lamb cutlets with pesto served on pumpkin, chickpeas and beetroot. It was sensational, as were the parmesan truffle chips, broccoli with hummus and macadamia nuts (OMG) and the dessert - brandy snap with lemon curd, lemon sorbet and raspberry sherbert was stunning. Too good to take photos of, sorry! Lol

I’ve been meaning to leave this review for quite sometime as I adore Chapters. It has to be my favourite restaurant in the area. I have never been disappointed by the food, drinks or service. All staff are lovely and can guarantee a good vibe and full bellies… always.

Yet another amazing family
Dinner at chapters! The service and food were perfect as always, the youngest wasn’t sure about having the spaghetti and sauce so they happily provided her with a little make your own spaghetti dish, can’t wait to go back kids brownie was also a massive hit!

Previously did the best breakfast it the northern suburbs. Sorely disappointed to see that they’d stopped it, and the rude attitude of the staff lately. Previously highly recommended, but now has lost my patronage. Not recommended.

Probably one of the worst breakfasts I've had out. Asked for crispy bacon, it was almost raw! The poached eggs tasted bitter like vinegar and were hard boiled. They offered to replace the bacon but the company i was with had almost finished so they took the raw bacon off the bill that was all.not impressed wont be going back!

A really great restaurant and a true testament to its owners that great places can last through the pandemic
