My in-laws love living at this Village, the family management creates a caring atmosphere that considers the residents needs as they grow together. Definitely worth taking a look.

Seriously disappointed for my family members who decided to make the move into lifestyle living just over a year ago and only after just over 12 months living there found themselves back at square one having to sell up again and move. Unfortunately, a great many promises made in advertising both in the media and promotional brochures never eventuated. My family took up residency in preference of living in suburbia because it offered access to amenities including a swimming pool, theatre room, central club facilities, access to shared kitchen facilities, gymnasium etc. They chose a family owned option who continued to live on site. The lifestyle they were looking for was within reach; or so they thought!
At first everything appeared to be great until residents started asking about progress updates. Alarm bells started to ring shortly after they moved in when resident’s original Lifestyle Village contracts were changed to that of a Retirement Village, but I don’t believe operating practices changed in accordance? Then residents, albeit a handful, were soon told that the pool would not eventuate until 20 homes had been sold. Disappointment was mounting. The gymnasium as it turned out had used equipment and some probably should have been safety checked or perhaps even put out of service. At least one of the Kitchen appliances was a used donation. Sadly, for them disappointment increased and unfortunately the new life they had hoped to start living had suddenly fallen in a heap and they found themselves paying monthly fees for very little in return.
I certainly got the feeling that the owners were losing interest, drive, enthusiasm. After much angst my family were so unhappy and were left with no other option than to cut their losses, sell up and move out. This was not without personal financial loss, payment of rent and exit fees and the need to move out before the house was sold.
Fortunately for them an offer came in just after 3 months of them moving out. I am angry because these people mean the world to me and they should never have had to go through this through no fault of their own.
They recently settled on alternative accommodation and I have to say they have never laughed and smiled as much as they have since that move. They have the life full of activities which they enjoy within a friendly community run by very competent management.
All I’m saying is folks, please beware, consider all your options thoroughly and investigate every detail of all the information you are given and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Remember, if something doesn’t sound right, question, question, question.
They lost $58000.00 in under a year from moving out of this place, not good when they are approaching their 80's very soon. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
It's totally mis-managed, that's my opinion.

This is a personal experience, i don't live there.
A nice cheap place to move into giving you a brand new home, however, somewhat slow to develop amenities.pool and Gymnasium as outlined on the brochure.
