Central Greenough Cafe & Visitor Centre reviews
53 Loved it here and will call in again. Food good in the cafe and nice staff.
Really interesting area of old buildings to look at too, a fascinating place
Lovely day food was really good fresh and good service, had good company with friends, seeing the Larimers they were delightful lovely day had by all
Amazingly beautiful place. Historical pieces beautifully preserved to showcase. It's a self-guided tour to the old buildings, a ticket for which you can take at the cafe counter. There are also some Lamas which always Rome around and you can feed them too. It was an awesome experience.
Stopped in for a coffee and bathroom.
Very nice owners and very tasty cakes on offer.
We will be stopping on the way back through for a proper look around.
Very nice place to stop off if heading up towards Geraldton (or further). Staff very friendly and nice. Coffee was excellent!
We stopped for coffee and scones and we got a very pleasant experience. We could bring our dog to the outside area. The alpacas in the paddock were interested in our dog so we were entertained by there antics. The coffee and scones were great too.
Nice place quiet and peaceful awesome owners would go back if in area scones jam and cream yummm
Very quiet when we arrived after lunch. The food, cod chowder, was lovely. The service was excellent.
There was plenty of parking. And after lunch we strolled around the heritage centre.
Sadly on a public holiday it was closed. While sitting in the car park, 6 others were disappointed.
Definitely worth a visit, if you plan on visiting the old settlement take a hat and water with you it's a decent walk. Good friendly staff nice meals and reasonably priced nic nacs.
It's always great to stop at the Greennough Cafe for a meal and a coffee, awesome place to sit back and relax
Great historical village. But if buildings are not better restored it will crumble.
We did not eat here.
Super friendly staff, food was good. Just a bit disappointed that u have to pay 10 dollars per person to just see the church. Still recommend for a quick stop.
Make sure you arrive well before 3pm as the Cafe will be closed. Male staff member who served us was a little abrupt and seemed reluctant to serve us as it was getting close to 2.45pm.
The historical village was definitely worth a look.
Definitely worth the look around. Beautifully maintained buildings and quite interesting and the Cafe offers great food and shopping options whilst you relax and watch the lamas.
My breakfast was not nice at all. The sausage was old and reheated many times there was only a small amount of sausage meat left inside and the baked beans were over heated and dryer out.
Restored buildings all classified by the national trust. Cheap entry $7 for concession card holders. Worth a visit.
Partner and I enjoy going out every other sunday for breakfast or brunch. Great place for lunch with friends and family too! Always wonderful service and delicious food. It's great to see local businesses supported in the giftshop and historic settlement is noteworthy also. Highly recommend (:
We had a coffee before going through the historical sites, the coffee was GREAT. Service was prompt, and friendly informative staff, we had a question about a building we saw and was told it was an old flour mill, it's a little further up the road, but you are not able to go through it as it is still being restored.
The other buildings you can go through are quite interesting if you like a bit of history. I enjoyed it, my husband thought it was ok. Definitely worth a look. Concession admission was $7 per person.
