Centenary Park Community Centre reviews
13The main hall at the Centenary Park Community Centre is ideal for a large dancing function. Our students attended the 2022 International Day of People with Disability Dance Extravaganza. The venue has free parking, was clean, light, well maintained, great accessibility, with very modern facilities.
Well maintained facility with multiple play spaces for children.
Had a 1 year old birthday party here and online booking was seamless, would definitely consider again if we plan anymore parties.
DO NOT HAVE YOUR FUNCTIONS HERE! They allow 15 minutes prior to your event to set up and 45 minutes after. The facility toilet’s and kitchen were not in a clean state, random people popping in and out from another function and lastly they are so hard to deal with what is supposed to be a fun event was turned stressful.
It's a lovely place to have a walk, bike ride, exercise, picnic with kids and family. Lots of birds life in the lake in the middle. Before COVID19 time we could use BBQ facility as well. Next to a community centre offers a lot too. We attend one of mother's group there. One public toilet. Just behind McDonald do if you like it, that's bonus. On leash, but lots of dogs are walking too.
Clean and spacious community centre with lovely park outside. Plenty of parking. Only downside was we couldn't find a medical kit, perhaps it was stored somewhere we didn't look.
This is a great place. Very good community centre. The park, enjoyment of the water and all the complete facilities in this area.
Nice park for walking the dogs with a beautiful lake and island with lots of Birdlife, but the drainage is woeful so after heavy rain the oval and other parts turn into a swamp.
Awesome location to unwind after a long day and during weekends.
It is also a family friendly place to visit or immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature by the lake.
Very nice park with a lake and BBQ facilities also has sports oval next door. Always council workers parked up looking at their phones.
Good place for functions, but need to have someone watching the cars as we had a couple broken into.
I love the exercises equipment and the barbecue area. It was a good experience as it was a good area and not too crowded.
Its actually a nice place. The backyard there is a ground u can actually exercise on and play sports. There is church on Sunday. You should go there its fun
I love Centenary Park! It's a beautiful peaceful atmosphere where you can sit and relax while enjoying the scenery of ducks, pelicans, swans and other birds or take a walk around the walk track with the family or your pet. There is always something great happening at the recreational centre, a toy library for the kids and outdoor movies and sporting events, Zumba and martial art classes, Aerobics and a host of things to get you involved. Centenary Park also has excersise facilities and stations and free barbecues for getting together with family and friends. It is a great community service and the locals are happy and friendly.:)
