Frequent loud foul language, yelling, swearing in the less known inside of this used to be quiet courtyard of Commerce Court. Since Centacare moved in to three units 5,7 and 8 squeezing out businesses (so they are forced to move elsewhere if they could) the two toilets overcrowded, no parking system to accommodate business owners and clients. In unit 8 the Avenues Alternative Education Program often sound like the teachers train these kids how to swear by screaming from the top of their lungs. Demoralising and hard to put up with, experiencing first hand where the church donations and the taxpayer not for profit grant ends up.

Response to the owner

Commerce Court is a strata property also private property that has laws governing the use of the premises by the proprietors and their clients.
It is common knowledge that tenants has obligations also the right to the peaceful enjoyment of their lease.
I think it is undesirable attitude to disregard the rights and safety of the rest of the tenants by any organization.
Our business is not founded by taxpayers it is supposed to create an income and we work hard to make a living by providing service for the money people have left after their taxes and living expenses. I personally work 12-16 hours most weekends too and still in the office at 8-10 PM when others are long gone home.
We also volunteer to not for profits and local community organisations, give donations at our local church.
I do not feel privileged for earning forty thousand a year but for that I studied and worked hard too to find a purpose and a way of serving my local community.
When it become harder to find a fulltime job in the gig economy (for someone over 50) rather than joining the unemployed queue I decided to put my decades of IT experience to work. After working from home for about a year and encouraged by demand for the service I took a huge gamble to lease an office on a single family income. I was glad I could work with less interruption and provide more professional service. The Commerce Court complex seemed ideal and appropriate for a professional consulting business.
The mission of our business is to provide affordable, meaningful help to people even on low income or on a pension. We only work in the Armadale council area and by now have close to a thousand local clients.
Since the change of conditions that causing undesirable disruption to our business, we were forced to scale down our operations and look for alternative locations. Unfortunately, so far, we were unable to find a more suitable office and as a result have thousands of dollars investment in equipment now placed in storage.
I do not think I would be allowed to set up a commercial business office in one of the local schools so do not understand why anyone operating a school do find it appropriate to place it into a commercial business complex that has not been designed to accommodate the crowd and noise?
