Not my experience, but the school has a bad reputation. The staff are sickening and so fricken disrespectful I still don’t know how islets still a school to begin with. The racism and discrimination in the area is not it. The constant bullying and harassment my step brother had to deal with and not a single teacher and the principal did anything to address the situation made me so mad and disappointed. If I were you, I wouldn’t send any kids to this school. As a school, you are responsible to protect your students and you are failing that. What happened to schools being a safe place for everyone?

I'm moving to Byford this such is so horrible the staff are bad people saying Racial slurs suspended kids for getting upset about them, literally last week a girl had a tree fallen on her only this week did they clean the tree with BLOOD on it up and still haven't checked the other trees for other hazards, not to mention when our canteen lines get really long and people have been waiting all break they'll send you back to class without the food if it's a few minutes to the bell if you are ever late to class my teachers will call student services and you get in trouble even if you have a legit reason. For performing arts program students you have to buy a 25 dollar shirt and the black bottoms and you are not even allowed to wear them in other class rooms its a whole bit waste of money in that department, the bullying is horrible aswell especially in year 7 and 8 physically getting attacked and mentally, alot of the boys are accused of being offendeds which even if they are wrong still sends the wrong message out to females around them, don't send your students to this school I beggggg you

The school is filthy, having chewed gum littered around the school and desks. The majority of the teachers are knowledgeable, but not all of them are. They recently decided that locking the toilets during class time would be a good idea as if the children can control their bladders, there have been so much fights and even bullying. However, not everything is horrible. Programs such as performing arts and afl have been pretty nice, and the canteen food appears to be good, and the education is alright. Other than the lack of care around the school and the children's well being its not the worst school.

Littered with rubbish in and around the school. Dirty nappies and needle hazards for the children attending. An absolute eyesore. Don't send your kids there.

3 of my children have attended or are still attending Cecil Andrews College. It is a fantastic high school with some great programs (performing arts, AFL and Stem to name a few). The teachers and principal are great and admin staff are always friendly.

I mean the school is great and I love it but my only concern is that there is a footpath right near the English block and the footpath is surrounded with beautiful flowers but because of the flowers it's also always swarmed with bee's and there are ALOT of kids at this school that are allergic to bee's and would get stung by the bee/s at least once. As I have and I myself am allergic to bee's and in my opinion this is a danger

This year are the worst batch of students you have. Right outside the bus stop after school your students always makes so much noise. Running in the middle of the road. As a driver I myself have many times sounded horn when they are playing in the road and had almost ran over. On top of that today i witness them pushing the dustbin outside the handicap old mans house. Is this what you teach your students? Go around the neighbourhood make noise and run around the middle of the road. Do understand their actions are reflecting and tarnishing your school!

Teacher are decent. Although they keep leaving
School equipment isn’t great but we have a 5 million dollar STEM centre with non working laptops
Raffle system is rigged
Principal’s speeches are long and repetitive
The toilets are unsanitary and would be foreclosed by the OHS commission
Student services could be better and actually provide services for students mental health problems
The STARR qualities aren’t talked about or used except in the principals long speeches where it can be repeated multiple times
A CERTAIN SCIENCE TEACHER IS A GREAT BLOKE AND A QUALITY TEACHER WITH AN ATAR OF 96
Mr Townley is also a firefighter who protects us with fire hydrant skills (quoting Jinman “that is a 21st century skill”)
