Fabulous venue with delicious food, fabulous service and great ambiance. Highly recommend.

Staff were very helpful and efficient. Food was delivered fast and tasted great but nothing more than a pub meal. I did ask for some aioli to go with my son's dinner but was advised it was extra $$. We spent over $200 on food you'd think a small squeez of sause would be complimentary

Stayed here for two nights. Ate breakfast, lunch and dinners here, was rustic but very nice food in a great location.

Go here if you’re hungry and seeking pub style food. The price of food is not cheap but not too pricey either. The size of the servings are generous and you won’t leave hungry. Tasty too. There is also a kids menu for the kids. The atmosphere here is quite lively. If you’re thinking of a quiet high tea, this is not the spot.

Members of the Dunruffinit Caravan Club who attended the September Vasse Rally dined at Caves House on the Thursday evening. The whole dining experience was exceptional from start to finish. We were seated in our own private dining room which enabled all attending to easily exchange engaging conversation and the staff were happy, polite and attentive.
All dishes ordered were beautifully presented and everyone commented on how delicious their meal was.
We will be returning again and recommend Caves House to all.

Busy holiday weekend. Didn't like my main course, Greens. Not enough sauce and too crunchy.

Had a Hefty beef cheeks meal and it was delicious, well cooked and great service from the staff. Will be back soon.

I dunno, $32 bucks for nachos? It’s mostly corn chips, come on. I guess lack of competition and a beautiful location means you can get away with it?

Excellent buffet breakfast. The nachos were burnt and not tasty, the fish and chips were delicious. Excellent customer service, especially from Evan.

Rude, condescending, accusatory staff that were completely unwilling to help fix a minor issue that they were responsible for. Would never, ever come back here due to the particularly vindictive behaviour of one female member of staff.

I can't say how disappointed I am with the Caves Restaurant on Saturday night. With 6 mature friends away for the weekend we wanted something a little special and booked in for dinner at the Caves House Restaurant expecting something quite nice, however the Customer Service was nonexistent!
We had no waiter service so had to order and pay for our meals at the bar, we ordered and paid for 6 meals and when only 5 of those meals arrived, we were told it was not ordered and not paid for! We then had the hassle of having to go online in the middle of all this to check bank accounts to prove that it had been ordered and paid for which completely spoilt our evening.

The manager did eventually come out and advise sorry it had been ordered and paid for and they would bring out the 6th meal in around 3 minutes, but all other 5 friends had actually finished eating so we asked for a refund.the staff on the bar, who had originally been abrupt and adamant that they had not made an error made no apology whatsoever and even the manager made no attempt at compensating for the stress it had caused us all.

Then to top it all off, at 9.45pm we went to the bar to order our last drinks, only to be told we had to go one by one and order and pay for our drinks separately as it was house rules that we were not allowed to purchase last rounds! How ridiculous! When we advised we are all in our late 50's and felt insulted they were treating us like children they replied, "We are not allowed to be AGEIST these are the rules" Well Caves Restaurant, thank you for ruining our evening and rest assured we will not be returning; I will not be promoting your restaurant, but I will ensure all people I know over the age of 20 will know of the extremely POOR SERVICE from your establishment!

My husband and I enjoyed our buffet breakfast! There was lots to choose from and the fruit bread, from the local bakery, was the best I have even tasted! All delicious!

Love the smart, but casual, atmosphere of the historic hotel and beautiful, extensive gardens.

Meet some friends for drinks great pub with a great atmosphere and plenty of entertainment.

We ordered the surf and turf that was $48, unfortunately everything was overcooked. They steak was very well done and tough. I was going to send it back but could see how overworked and stressed the staff were. We visit caves often, however won’t be ordering the steak again.

Very disappointing & quite expensive for pub grub.

First 2 meals arrived quickly and looked quite good, 20 min went by then the second 2 meals arrived, but the last 2 meals never arrived.

We chased them up with wait staff which took some time again only for them to ask what we ordered.
I asked after about an hour of first sitting down and seeing many of the meals that we ordered if they were not started could we just get a refund.as we were getting sunburnt just sitting there.

Surely they would have taken the next ones off the pass that matched our order and maybe a free drink for waiting 40 min after the first 2 meals were served, but no not even an apology from the manager at all, he was actually quite abrupt as he wanted to refund it back to a card, but I said we paid with cash.

Great location and atmosphere, but kitchen and manager let it down.
