We stayed here for 4 nights with our 2 boys. I have mixed feelings about his campsite.

Location is great, the ladies on reception are so helpful And friendly. The park is well maintained.

We stayed in a bush camp, it was very dusty so be prepared for everything to get filthy. For a couple of nights it’s fine just make sure you have a broom/vaccum/blower and enough clothes! Or really I would opt for a grass site.the bush site we were in was a good size but due to the layout meant we had so many campers all around us, 3 down one side 2 down the other and 2 backing on to us. So there was just a lot of noise around. Tho I will say whilst we stayed everyone was respectful
Of the noise curfew of 10am.

The unisex toilet/showers. It feels like the kitchen and toilet block is relatively new but they did t have room for a male and female block so instead there is about 6 unisex toilet/showerRooms and 2 separate toilets. Which where always busy and meant you could be showering after someone else just used the toilet or going to the toilet after someone showered and it was humid and hot and wet. I didn’t love this format, but the block
Was new and hot water is a pro!

Usually when we camp my boys love to ride round with other kids, no one was really cycling maybe cos it’s dirt hilly rocky
Roads so they played on the pillow or so we thought - in reality they where sneaking off to the tv room. We go away to escape screen time so personally didn't love tv was so readily available - especially you tube tv!

So in summary - the site is good, clean
And well ran but there were things that didn’t suit our preferences as a family so we wouldn’t be likely to return but rather try another site in the area.

My family had a great experience camping at a powered tent site. Loved the location, which was central to the places we wanted to visit and opposite the General Store, which made great coffee.

The kids enjoyed the bounce pad and swing. Showers and facilities were modern and clean. Just felt that the kitchen area could do with a more regular clean and some of the bins needed emptying more frequently.

Really enjoyed this holiday park and would recommend.

Nice site, well situated with good facilities. Slightly spoiled by music noise from the local pub which went on far too long.

12 days. What a wonderful place to stay in a natural environment. Hand fed ring necks & a possum. But all modern facilities. Excellent camp kitchen where they did bacon and egg rolls for Father's Day (free). The most amazing staff, all very lovely, helpful & happy. Good vibe from others exploring far and wide. Caves Hotel across the road did a great fish & chips, dog friendly. Extended our stay, sorry to leave. Caravan site was easy access, but they are happy to help if it’s a bit harder. So much to see cannot list it all. Got a car service with Auto Masters in Busso, excellent. Eagle heritage excellent. Simmo ice cream a must. Otherwise too much to mention. Ps swings and roundabouts pizza to die for lol. PPS thank you Mary

Stayed here for one night while on a road trip this week. The reception staff were very friendly and informative about the local area. The cabin was just perfect for the two of us and backed onto bushland. Everything you needed was there in the kitchen. Beds were comfy. Lovely location.

Lovely and well run Caravan park. Check in was welcoming. Everyone knows quiet time is 10pm. Toilet and bathrooms clean and tidy. Across the road from Caves house and local shop. Coast is shortish walk. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Nice campsite, facilities are fantastic. Just be aware that the grass sites are right next to the busy road, so the noise from traffic is pretty constant.

Nice caravan park. Customer service was fantastic. Park is well maintained and facilities are excellent. Tent sites are generous and well marked. Kitchen is excellent however could do with a second fridge. Only detractor is the road noise from Caves Rd which is more prevalent at night when the surrounding noise is low.

Great place camping if you have dogs too. Toilets etc really well looked after. Shame some people leave them in such a mess

We've stayed here during the xmas to new year break for the past 3 years and it's been great. The cleaning standards have been 5 star and were cleaned several times a day (probably covid related) but this year, the ablution block has been well below standards, lucky to see the cleaners once a day, running out of toilet paper and hand towel. I have especially been quite disappointed as we have been wanting a powered site and told fully booked, but during our stay this year seen plenty of free powered sites available, which is so annoying as I asked only weeks before our stay.

Down in the area to officiate a wedding.
Such a beautifully laid out park with the best camp kitchen I've seen in quite a while. Will make sure a return visit is noted, lovely friendly staff.

Had a tent site, was good, had a map on the ground which kept things a bit cleaner. Had some very noisy neighbours though (four young boys playing music and talking loudly till late).
The shared kitchen was quite small.
The shared bathroom is new and clean.

Paid $215/night for a nice cabin, but had to change the date of our stay. Provided 2 weeks notice but Tasman said they would charge an additional $71/night because there was only 1 cabin left on that weekend. If it was a new booking I can understand their greedy ways of supply and demand but totally unethical for a change of dates. With those kind of charges would have thought the double bed mattress would be of an adequate standard, not a clapped out bag of fairy floss

This park was fabulous. Shower facilities fantastic and such friendly service at check in. Loved the shared facilities right next to the playground. Perfect to prepare dinner and keep an eye on the kids

We have had a great week staying here. Beautiful campground in a fantastic location. The only fault I would say was the lack of games room and the toilets. When we asked about this we were told that it was closed indefinitely due to unruly kids. There was also a significant lack of toilets and facilities. During an incredibly busy week there was only 1 toilet, without a shower and one bathroom completely out of order. Some of the public toilets had been made into ensuites as a money grab and hence the available facilities were absolutely disgusting. I went to use the toilets on a number of occasions to find them completely covered in human excerement. Also it was often difficult to find an available toilet at peak periods. Luckily for us we had a friend with an ensuite so I no longer had to shower in incredibly unhygienic facilities. However their ensuite was also covered in dead flies and spiderwebs on arrival. Luckily my friend had antiseptic wipes! We would love to stay again but am unsure if we will until there are more toilets and showers.

Stayed 4 nights
Was going to a wedding close by.
Really friendly helpful staff. When l booked l said we we're going to a wedding. And they asked us how it went. Not out first vist here. The Hotel is opposite so a great place for a meal and a glass of wine.
Also beautiful walk through hotel gardens to beach. And it a beauty.

Great little park, some spots a bit hard to get into, but easy done with the help of staff. Close to beach, pub and bakery.
Ensuits very spacious and clean, only negative could do with hand rails for elderly to get up from toilet.
Thank you Mick and Jo we enjoyed our stay.
