Catalina Estate by Satterley

Corner Rooney Street and Roulettes Parade in Clarkson. Catalina 6030 becomes a dangerous crossing as trees in the middle need to be trimmed to allow drivers see the coming cars. PLEASE do this ASAP.

Seems to be very inflated land prices and it's too close to Tamala Park dump. The smell is particularly bad when the wind is blowing north.
Be aware! Apart from that the layout is pretty good and the ocean views are spectacular.

We purchased our land and built our home within the Catalina Estate early in the development stages of the Catalina Central, since then it has expanded into a beautiful little estate with the neighbourly type community that most of us yearn for. Who needs nostalgic memories of street bbqs and community get together when you can do it now and today.

To compliment the estates growing infrastructure the community has their own Facebook group from which neighbours can communicate through, everything from neighbourhood watch to supporting local business goes on in here. Last month was a community food truck extravaganza and this week we have a community cinema viewing. All within the confines of our beautiful estate!

A few features let us down though and that’s why there are only 4 stars:
- satterly are slow to respond to community members concerns, some include the workmanship and behaviour of building companies who create mess and trouble for residents, some include the developers own workmanship such as the eastern fence line which sings a ringing song when the wind blows.
- satterly have contracted LD Total to complete and maintain the landscaping however many of the gardens have been overgrown with weeds and far too many of the good plants such as grass trees have died under their care and never been replaced.
- builders in the area are renowned for creating havoc for neighbours, Thompson Sustainable Builders is one of these offenders.
- the estates security system was abandoned and satterly has made no sincere attempt to rectify this.
- many residents were told by their builders that the developer was going to work hard to have the area renamed from Clarkson to catalina however this does not appear to be going forward.

We have built in the catelina estate and love it!

If only all the people that worked for Satterly were nice! Each time I have rung or queried something the people I happen to speak to have been nothing but rude. Talking to me like I should just know everything. And like I’m wasting their time. A simple question on how the rebates work and I get snapped at.
Your a massive company. Hire some decent staff.

Great estate with everything you need close by, an affordable infill estate that will only keep growing!

Great estate - nice and close to shops/train/schools and the new freeway extension at Neerabup Drive! Sales consultants are professional and knowledgeable too!

They never told us about the smell that produces from the chemicals in Tamala Park! The fencing they are providing still put the family at risk as it's open both sides! Whatever complain or request we did they fall in deaf ears!

Without a doubt the best location in the Northern Corridor of Perth. The value for money relative to the other options in the area is second to none.
