I sold a laptop these guys a laptop that was $2500 brand new.it was in perfect condition as it was only used twice.the staff even mentioned how well the laptops condition was.scumbags offered me $180 for it, i told them no so i left the store.i changed my mind about 20 minutes later so i went back. THEN THEY OFFERED ME $120 FOR IT! It was the same dude as earlier too.couple weeks later i see my laptop on the shelf for $1700.absolute scam artists they knew exactly how much it was worth, i bet they offered such a low price cause they could tell that i’m young.absolute pigs this place should be burned to the ground.go to cash city instead, they’re right next door.

These people are the pits, the owner is Shonky big time, purchased a companion jump pack that wasn't working, took it back, they fixed it then wanted to sell it to me for $275 when i bought it for $160 and no parts $$$ were spent by cash converters midland to fix it, you will be hearing from fair trading! And to top it off i put a complaint in with cash coverter's head office and didn't hear anything back.beware people most of the junk is sold on facebook!

Brought a ps 3 controller from this place today got home and it didn’t even work. I had ask the guy if he had tested them he said yes he had just put them in the cabinet… I don’t think I’d shop here again… a big 0/10 for me

I went in to look at purchasing a engagement ring and came across one we where interested in tried it and was not our size being a J size so we arranged with sales staff member Josh to have it resized to a M. After being paid in full of $420, we where told that it would take between 3 days, at most a week. After waiting over a week we went in store enquired with Josh and where told that it was not ready with no estimated time as to when it would be ready.another week past we called up Josh and still he had no idea on the return of our ring we asked for them to enquire with jeweler and return our call with a answer which we had no response. After a further week we went in again to see if we could pick up ring and to our surprise it was available and was told that it has been for the past week, and that they had contacted us within this time, we had no calls from them at anytime and where disappointed with the workmanship as the ring did not fit the size was a size L 1size to small and was out of shape.
We asked for a refund as we where disappointed and dissatisfied with the workmanship of the ring the conduct of the staff and the treatment to ourselves the entire process of purchasing the ring was not professional at all it felt like we paid for the item and that was all they where I interested the money not us the customer.
They offered a resizing which we did not want to go through again waiting another 3weeks so we asked and insisted on the refund, they refused saying it was not a faulty (which it was after being told by a jeweller at Goldmark), Rowan the duty manger then left the jewlery on the counter telling us to take it and leave otherwise he would call the police.

All we want is a refund but instead we have paid for resizing and repair of the ring of an extra $110. In total we should be compensated for this and refunded our purchase.
It was ment to be a happy experience nothing of the sort.

This place is a prime example of why people hate pawnbrokers. The service is exactly as described below- terrible- and they constantly engage in bait advertising, leaving ads up intentionally long after the item has been sold to trick you into going to the store. Absolutely the last place I'd ever sell anything let alone buy. Piss poor

Poor customer service, sale broke hair straighteners then swap it with broke vacuum went back again refund it he doesn’t want to do it because he know that sold me broke staff then try to blame customer for what happens.i will not recommend anyone to go to this place all scammers

Apparently Cash Convertors test their electronics first? If so they knew about the faults before hand, but still sold products taking advantage of customers.
Not likey to buy products again from there. Facebook Marketplace hopefully will bury these ripoff artists all together!

This place is a joke. Is the retail side even open? I called up 3 times and their phone just rang out. At least when I worked there I answered the phone.

I always shop at cash converts and last week I went in store and they offered me $1100 for my ounce of gold. It’s worth $2600. When they offered me that it felt like a kick in the teeth. I’m telling everyone one how unfair you are cash converters

Bought a Samsung Galaxy S5, $200 works perfectly, great price, the lady was very helpful, suppled a charging cable as well, said any problems with product bring it back, hasnt been any problems, great service, will go there again

I've called about 35 times and my partner has also tried and they do not answer their phones. So unprofessional. I now have to drive all the way to midland (an hour for me.) and hope they still have what I'm going to pick up. Fuming!

Rung up the store 4 times and no one picked up.i decided to drive there while my phone is still ringing the store and to my surprise two staff members were doing nothing.cash converters midland is the last place you go to for second hand items

great service, held the item i requested for a week, then remembered me when i rung up, helped to fit the part to ensure it was correct and fitted on my bike, also supplied the tools to do so.then offered me a choice of a bottle of water or lemonade while i looked around the shop.not even uber offers that service.so ask for Josh top bloke
