9Do yourself a favour and go across the road to Cash city. New staff at loans at Cashys are rude. Matt from there hasn't been there the last two times he is amazing.
I put my switch in on loan when I needed some money, came to get it back and they were trying to get me to pay more than what it was worth, I told them just sell it, I'd rather spend the money on a new updated oled one. Just ridiculous.
A place of greed and sadness. An annual interest rate of over 400% the greedy taking advantage of the needy. I watched a youngish man obviously on hammer pawn his girls jewellery with her blessing. Next up an alcoholic. I noticed cashies shares a common thread with Pawn Stars and Gold and Silver Pawn, obesity. They eat well on their greedy wealth and the pain of the needy.
I personally believe this company expesially takes advantage of the low income earners and mark up the goods as it seems the second hand goods are more expensive than the new goods.
Can they add an entry ramp or steps for pedestrians instead of us climbing over the limestone wall?
There's some cool stuff on sale but rarely any retro gaming consoles and games, only current gen items.
Always so.friendly. Matt, Nicky and Tyson are amazing. So friendly and fair. However I have noticed that the really tall, big guy (manager I believe) enjoys putting his staff down to try and make himself look big. (I believe it is the bosses son). But this doesn't make the staff look very silly, it makes him look very silly and immature. This is actually workplace bullying. I don't know how the staff put up with being put down all the time (And that's in front of customers) I'd hate to know what kind of workplace bullying they have to put up with out the back. Anyway all great staff and service just disappointed with workplace bullying.
Staff are friendly and great, I applaud the store for picking up after the fire and re-opening, although prices could be a bit more competitive
This place is a treasure trove for A/V gear. Salesman was very personable and outgoing. Cheers, Cashies!
