Cash Converters reviews
19As we are STS we deal with them for a long time they do have very interesting products with resumable price
Ordered a preowned PSP from this store from the other side of the country (Sydney), order was dispatched promptly and arrived within a week. All components had up to date testing labels and unit worked as described.
Today I went to look at iPods and had brilliant service. I was served by friendly people who answered my questions and put 2 aside for me to go for a walk and think about.
When I returned Jay served me and he was very knowledgeable, friendly, patiently answered more questions (even when some were very basic) plus gave me a great price!
I was VERY impressed with the Fremantle store and left with a fabulous iPod
Looking forward to dancing to my music again for many more years. Thank you Jay for helping me make my purchase with friendly laughter, ease and grace xx
Predatory tactics used by staff. They offer you far below bottom dollar for items you wish to sell.
Terrible customer service if I could star this Fremantle branch negatively I would 100%. Shocking customer service! The trainee Anton rude, worker Amy lied and manager Chris rude rude rude! They can’t handle an internal situation in store to the extent that it’ll has to be taken to the dept.of consumer affairs.
My experience at the Fremantle cash converters has left me numb, I walked in at 4: 30 last week there were three people waiting and two being served I simple said to one of the staff there, looks like your too busy to see me in time I’ll come back another day e replied “ I keep telling you to come early you always come too late” with a strong rude attitude! I then simply walked out
He shamed me infront of the other clients I’m mean who do they think they are addressing customers this way?
The staff there have tickets on themselves it’s dreadful and completely unacceptable behaviour
However and more importantly; when I was there a couple of weeks ago looking at my options to sell some gold jewellery (that I had valuations and receipts for) they told me the items were gold plated and worthless!
He added that my receipts were lies! That I had been ripped of and I’m talking reputable well known jewellers that I had historically purchased from.
Cash converters don’t offer spot prices they have a medium bench mark fixed price well under any documented historical indexed gold price, to apparently cover the fluctuating gold market
I said nothing because I was speechless at there inaccuracy and stupidity
I ended up selling my gold to a professional gold merchant in Fremantle called WA Gold Buyers who is 100% professional and a registered gold dealer buying at indexed spot price and no fees
I want to say here; buyer beware, be cautious and above all perhaps avoid this cash converters store in Fremantle and go to another cash converters store who may provide better and more professional good honest service, but who knows!
My statement of experience as a customer is true and reliable and not personal
Skip this store and just go to a reputable stockist I purchased an Xbox one consult from the store online 10 months ago it was an excellent condition however the controller they sent me was damaged and on usable the controls didn’t work they were buttons that wouldn’t even calibrate with the games so I had emailed them about it they sent me a new one free of charge however the Xbox I have from them has stopped working I emailed them about the issues leading up to the moment and telling them that it has stopped working for me and maybe I would be able to get another Xbox totally fine with the type of console I have just maybe exchange it for a different one and the email reply was “i recommend you find one on bargain” and I emailed them again clarifying this was the Xbox I have brought from your store I don’t want to buy another one just for this to happen again and I have not received another email they are very uncommunicative about this issue and it’s quite upsetting because I spent over $200 for it just to stop working in less than a year
Amazing experience! Was served by Emily and she is simply everything you want in customer service! So friendly and helpful, going the extra mile! I usually hate someone trying to upsell me things but she did it in a way that felt genuine and i was almost tempted to buy more! Just amazing!
Incorrect prices online, don’t waste your time visiting. They’ll up the price when you get there
Some extremely nice jewellry there.
Got a Beautiful Gold Diamond Ring as part of Birthday present from there. Present was from my Beautiful Best Ever Baby Dve Allison.

Well organised little shop and staff always ready to help with a smile, got some great bargains through the years
Staff not friendly their not entertaining customer we went there last Saturday 01/02/2020 no one entertained us we asked someone but no one came not deserved any star
Ive been going to cash converters to buy stuff and sell things of mine, and yeah sometimes i get less then what i should when i sell my stuff but most of the time they are really good, they are kind, and respectful towards customers, and the prices on everything are really good, its a great place to go and spend your money
Ever since the change of management the store has seemed much less tidy, but the arrangement of the shelving is much better than it was. It's clear that the staff have a lot on their plate and it can be hard to get thorough help.
The stock they have interestingly enough seems to be "everything and nothing" at the same time and the range in similar stock items is quite narrow.
Not a store to bring a wheelchair into.
In a city that is getting a much overdue facelift, this Cash Converters must follow suit to ensure they are not overrun and become irrelevant by what moves in across the road in the new development there.
Most of music instruments are overpriced, some are even more expensive than new gear from stores.
Good stock range that is constantly changing. Many high quality goods for sale. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff in sales, pawn and loan Dept. In fact the only negative is the lousy amount they give when selling items to them. If I could, I'd give them four and a half stars.
Sometimes the prices can be a little bit questionable, but they'll do a good deal for you a lot of the time.
Out of all the Cashies stores Fremantle is the most unprofessionally, poorly run.
A member of staff who like a child with autism revels in telling customers "I'm acting store manager, Be aware of this one he is rude, and his lack of intelligence and poor upbringing would make him a target for criminality. (Russell)
The shop is run with little consumer awareness and a big feeling of a, delusion of grandeur in all older members of staff.
I am currently seeking legal and franchise advice on matters regarding Fremantle cash converters.
