Really lovely Vet and a nice team. Very reasonably priced, very good advice and just a really pleasant experience every time we go.

I recently went to Caryn Vets as my mouse, Luna isn't well and we were seen by Peter Kirkpatrick. He and the team were very friendly and welcoming as we entered the vets. Peter was very knowledgeable, caring and very helpful. We have a checkup in 2 weeks time to see how Luna is doing with her medicine and we feel very confident and safe in Peter's help. Been with Caryn Vet Hospital for just over 2 years and they have looked after Allie my Maltese cross toy poodle, since pup. She is overly excited when she arrives at the clinic. Thanks for all that you do.

Must have been an off day. My cat deteriorated rapidly after the injectibles. Wrong antibiotics for symptoms. I would have preferred oral, no options explained. Cortisone contraindicated in the breed of cat. She is now fighting for her life.

I had a great experience with the entire team here, i got my first pet and they were very friendly and more than happy to give me advise on looking after him and letting me the beginners tips for looking after a dog, i will be going here with all my pets needs from here on out

I found Caryn Vet Hospital to be very professional and caring.
I know that Tinkerbell is going to be in the best care when treated by Dr Peter, Siena and Sam while also receiving lots of cuddles.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing Vet services and/or puppy training.

I would not rate Dr Kirkpatrick too highly. He charges for every visit regardless of whether it's a follow up visit for an ongoing issue that he has not been able to successfully treat. He does not like being queried about his charging, so as a result at my last visit acted quite unprofessional & did not allow me to be present when he checked my dog as would normally happen. He then said my dog's medical issue was all clear BUT, it was not. This after 2 lots of treatment costing close to a total of almost $500. I was not impressed, and have since moved to another Vet that cares more about the animal than anything else.

I believe Peter is the best vet in Perth, and potentially the best in the country. He genuinely cares, with real love, and after 5 years of seeing our dog he is still overjoyed to see her, and still enjoys cuddling her and ruffling her ears and bringing his face close to hers with big smiles. His knowledge and expertise is unrivalled, so you can have complete confidence and peace of mind. He always hires and trains the nicest, friendliest, most helpful vet nurses in the world! His entire practice is always full of loving, caring, helpful people, it’s like a little piece of perfect world when we go there. Everyone is always so understanding and so patient with me when something has happened with my dog and I’m stressed about it.

We use to happily drive 20km to see him, so a 40km round trip. Even though we live NOR, we were prepared to drive to him regardless of his location, including if he were to move SOR. So when he moved closer to us NOR we were over the moon!

I am very picky and do an enormous amount of research before selecting anything for our fur baby. When we first met Peter my puppy was around 12 months old or younger, and Peter was the 4th vet we tried for her, which means I have experience with other vets to compare with. Peter has been our vet ever since then, and now in 2019 our puppy is 6 years old, in fantastic health, has ALL her teeth, and all her teeth are pure white, whiter than mine!

Early on, our dog needed surgery, I believe it was called a vulvo plasty, but whatever it was called it was highly complicated, and Peter performed the surgery with perfection, his finished work was that of a skilled cosmetic surgeon, because the neatness and detail was incredible, and after the hair grew back you would never have known our dog had such extreme surgery in that area, Peter’s skills are amazing.

My dog has floppy ears which were really prone to infection because of its shape. She was also dealing with skin allergies. Peter has treated her and advised us on preventative measures and lifestyle changes for her, and she has ZERO allergies now! No more ear infections, no more skin issues, nothing. Fantastic. She can just enjoy life!

His Wellness Plan is highly HIGHLY convenient - just imagine your flea and worm treatments getting sent to you in the mail every month. No more having to remember to buy it, and not having it, no more having to buy it in bulk and the boxes taking up space in your house. So convenient.

We have used Peter’s Home Visits many many MANY times. It is wonderful. He is always kitted up with EVERYTHING when he comes. It’s amazing how he always has everything he needs in his kit.

Peter is also a really wonderful person to know. I cannot recommend Caryn Vet enough. They are the best. Professional and caring, they are perfect.

Save yourself hours and hours of research, and the heartache and time wasted from trial and error, and take your fur or feathered or scaled babies to see Peter. I trust him completely.

My mum's dog gets so excited to visit the vets, we say she has a crush on the Dr! If my dogs love going there and get excited then they're doing something right

Very caring staff at this vet's and a well equipped establishment. The vet also does home visitswhich can be very helpful.

Dr Peter has looked after my baby dog for almost 5 months so far. He is a lovely vet who really really loves animals. He has been very nice to my Lhasa Apso Maltese baby Ralph. We have got some emergency situations with Ralph and he is always there to help us out. I wouldn’t change him at all. Love the fact sometimes he can do home visit which I found very convenient. Great Doctor for our lovely dogs. 100% recommended.
