Carldenn Homestead Wines

Beautiful, family run winery. The owner is happy to talk to you about his wine, and describes each one you taste beautifully. It was like walking into someone home and being welcomed so warmly. Highly recommend has he did tell us he would be closing at the end of the year.

Great experience meeting Dennis and his wife, very welcoming and beautiful wines. Felt like we stepped inside their home and was great with our kids. Broad range of aged wines and a extremely magnificent port:)

Absolutely fantastic venue! Dennis is a gem and went above and beyond when we had a picnic here. The wine is delicious, there’s something for everyone. Lots of red and white, dry and sweet. They also have a port which is lovely. The location is beautiful, lots of spaces to have a picnic and enjoy the scenery. Highly recommend!

Excellent find. Very enjoyable tasting the wines which are all aged. Interesting artifacts and photos displayed. 2013 shiraz a winner.

What a hidden gem! So glad we stumbled upon this boutique winery. Could not fault any of their wines. Each had a personality of its own with amazing bouquet, texture, and taste. As you head to the entrance, you'll find the place welcomes you with much love and warmth. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and conversations with Dennis. Such a personal touch and learnt so much from Dennis. We definitely recommend this vineyard and will be back for more:)

Dennis is an excellent host, that explains the variety of wine in great details. Such an enjoyable experience hidden amongst the many wineries in the area. Needless to say, the wine was excellent as well.

Didn't visit many Perth hills vineyards but out of the 3 we did, this came out tops. Met a couple that had this at their last stop and they spent the longest time here. This place has incredible value for it's vintage offerings. Highly recommended. That's Dennis in the photo who's incredibly friendly and a great host.

This is a delightfully rustic yet charming winery. Dennis the host is warm, welcoming and certainly seems keen to discuss wine in depth. On top of this the range of wines on offer were exceptional, their Chardonnay in particular proving to be a winner amongst our group. 5 stars without a doubt

A boutique winery with spectacular wines. Dennis is a lovely person, worth to have a chat and listen to his stories. Definitely recommend it, we will be going again for sure. Both red and white wines are so tasty.

Wines to die for! I don't drink whites normally, but ALL of the whites and the sparkling are very smooth and tasty. Purchased a meat pack (so cheap, and delicious steak!) and cooked it up on the BBQ, sat on a gorgeous table under shady trees and enjoyed the peace and quiet.
We've been exploring the Bickley Valley/Walliston area and this little winery is a gem. A pleasant change from the big soul-less wineries of the Swan Valley. And the owner/host Dennis is wonderful and certainly knows his wines.
An intimate, homely venue with some of the best wines in WA. We purchased 5 bottles and will be back for more.

If you are looking for a boutique winery this is the place for you. Owner Dennis is an amazing host. Every wine we tasted was beautifully soft and subtle. Definitely try the sparkling. Can't wait to come back and try more.
