Carey Baptist College Forrestdale reviews
10Don’t go here my child gets bullied and depressed now rude teachers mean staff forcing them to grow up she’s in yr 4 and doing algebra +times tables+subtracting +adding, no play area barely very bad school btw to the school be nice to kids just cuz they don’t go cuz there scared of that school
Would not recommend. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere, relief teachers are clueless and have no etiquette whatsoever.
I agree with what others have said, dissatisfied with the school. A lot of works need to be done especially with curriculum and bullying. Anti bullying programs are needed alongside improved playground supervision. School atmosphere feels very discriminatory
Not that good. Bad discipline system. Naughty kids. Unsafe infrastructure (grated knees). STEAM building is estimated to be done in 2031 long time, so not much educational facilities. Don't go here.
Classes are packed like sardines with staffs absent so often (a friend of mine's kindy class have a new relief teacher every week). Bullying/discrimination is at a time high with nothing being done. Curriculum is apalling compared to what other schools are doing around the area (ie public). Good marketing strategies to get you enrol but nothing of those things that drew you in, actually get realised. We were looking forward to loving this school but got the opposite of that.
I’ve been at Carey Forrestdale for about a term now and to be honest it’s pretty good. Teachers are chill and it’s not a huge school. However it does lack when it comes to secondary and its facilities for secondary. For example we don’t have proper classroom buildings in secondary (not including the upcoming STEM building) and lockers are not included. I feel like having to bring a whole day’s worth of books to school every day isn’t very ideal and hopefully it improves. Overall great school
This school is a very good school. It is small which is what makes great. It's probably the best school I've ever been too. Please send your children here trust me, it's much better than hshs (harrisdale senior high school and carey baptist college harrisdale.) The teachers area also really nice.
The school is really really small, but that's what makes it great. Not to brag but I'm kinda an OG of this school, I remember watching this school grow from the start. It's feels weird being in the oldest class every year but also pretty cool. So if you're a parent thinking of bringing your child here, do it. This school is good. But lockers aren't included.

Our children have been at the Forrestdale campus since it opened and we love it! Fantastic community, excellent staff and leadership, genuine desire to grow children into successful, well-rounded adults and beautiful use of the bush setting with outdoor learning.
