Captain Peters Fish & Chips

Fantastic old fashion fish and chips.well priced and very generous chip serving.
I pretty regular Friday night staple just like the old days.

A handsome waiter called Patrick Knight served me he also asked for my snapchat and we have been talking frequently, he has requested to be my sugar daddy and is allowing me to eat free fish and chips from the shop! The food is soggy but patrick is hard as a fillet of barramundi.

Third time here first time chips were nice and decent serve second time ordered crumb fish recieved battered.small and sogghy chips.tonight got take away received a mangled up 120grams piece of snapper finally crumbed.smallest amount of chips and the hake was also not adequate serving.never going there again is a rip off
Also vould not recommend to anybody.

For shared fish and chips for my family in a trip to Perth recently. For 3 adults, the portion size was no where near adequate.
I'm fact my Uncle opened the order and asked where the other 2 lots were. He thought the whole order was a single serve.
Did not feed any of the 3 people anywhere near enough.
But apparently it did taste good.

It was ok.first time visitor. Quite busy when I visited. Positives are it was a good serving size and fish was well cooked.

The negatives are that the fish batter and chips were soggy by the time I got them home (3 minute drive) - so that was disappointing.

Potato cakes were very floury and had a strange texture and flavour, batter not crunchy at all. I normally devour potato cakes and I didn't bother finishing them.

I wont go out of my way to get it again, which is a shame as it's a local.

A good place to shop for Fish & Chips. Fish is good size and enough quantity, but the quantity of Chips is less. Overall quite affordable and the food is tasty.
Good location, but finding a place to park your vehicle can involve some time searching.

Man, the snapper here is amazing. The chips are by far the best chips around, it's everything you're looking for in fish and chips's chips. The chips portion sizes could be a bit better though.

It was just a short walk from my Air bnb, and this place had great reviews, so I decided to give them a try. I ordered the WA shark, seafood stick and pineapple fritter. The quality of the food was fabulous, the batter light and crisp. The reason for the 3 stars however. There was no pineapple fritter. I wouldn't have minded so much if he didn't blatantly lie to my face. I approached the counter as 'Captain Peter' was wrapping my meal. He said, oh, the fritter is under the fish lol the fritter was NOT under the fish. Please, in the future 'Captain Peter', let us know you don't have a product, and we can choose another, so we are not disappointed when we unwrap our meal and discover something missing. And maybe I was slightly peeved at your dishonesty. But, the food was delicious.

Really good fish and chips, great value. Fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. Chips were similarly excellent. A friendly and clean shop!

Good local fish and chip shop. We stopped in after going to the beach and were happy with the products, we got the triple pack which came with a ton of fish and extras. It was pretty busy when we came through but it was a Friday night so not unexpected.
Overall we liked it and would get it again if we were in the area.

Great value fish and chips. We are regulars to this establishment and they rarely disappoint. They don't grill, however.

Best fish and chips around (well squid and chips is my choice). Always quick, consistently good and SOOO cheap. Will always go out of our way to pick this up before heading to the beach for sunset!

An awesome local fish and chips take away. Never had a bad experience there and the fish is always fresh. If you love a good fish and chips this is a really good local which won’t disappoint.

In my opinion, best fish and chips in the Western suburbs, including Fremantle.

Good at giving estimates when they are swamped with orders, which is understandable because clearly everyone knows where the good fish and chips are at.

Proper fish and chip shop, reminds me of all the best chip shops I've ever been to.

Absolutely hands down the best fish and chips ever. And sooo cheap. $23 fed 4 of us with leftovers

We ordered the Spanish mackerel, calamari and chips last night and on first glance appeared to be worth the money. However the mackerel was well and truly overcooked and as dry as charity. The calamari was also overcooked and was the thinnest I have ever seen. A very disappointing feed! Probably safe to say that whoever cooked the meal should stick to their day job.
