Cannington Police Station reviews
20Absolutely professional youvcan trust this station to make the right decisions and im Aboriginal saying this
One of the receptionist was completely unprofessional and cold hearted, she speaks to you like your not human and then tries to get you removed if you confront her about her people skills, I know you get heat all day, but that’s no excuse to pass to be rude to the next human asking for help!
A van smashed into my dads car in the middle of the night, it fled from the scene and then hit another car head on around the corner, it continued to drive until it could drive no more. Dad called the police and they said they will send a car out when one was available. Waited by the van for well over an hour, police did not turn up, van driver fled and got away with it. Cannington police need more resources because their response is inadequate
To all the officers who helped to protect and serve on this particular night. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your care and service.
On the 17/06/22 I was forced to use the service of the police.
My review is based on this encounter alone.
Upon arrival (near midnight) I had pulled up in the police station carpark a little distressed and not knowing what to do. I was greeted by two officers at the door almost immedietely. One lady, one gentleman. They were both very lovely told me to come inside to talk as it was cold. I expressed my concerns and they guided me through my options.
They were both empathetic and thorough and gave me some very useful advice. They then had another team follow up on my case and come to my address an hour later to check in on me and inform me of any updates. To the officer in charge thank you for your time and service.
I have never had a personal encounter with the police in the 3 years iv been in Perth. But i feel very humbled and appreciate the proffessional but also empathetic care you took on my situation. It has definetely boosted my confidence and faith in seeking assistance from the police if needed in the future. Top team. Thank yous
We initially went to a pharmacy to have some documents certified and a statutory declaration signed, but we were refused because they were too busy. Then we decided to try our luck in the police station. We fortunately met officer Carmel and Tompkin, who patiently helped us with the paper work. Many thanks to them.
I was almost side swiped by a car at a 2-1 merge lane after a traffic light. This car proceeded to slam on the brakes and stop the second it passed me. I stopped with about a 1 metre gap still between us.
A young officer with a real ego problem jumped out of the Carpark across the road and screamed at me to pull over and issued me with a "following too closely ticket". I was stopped a meter behind the car that had just tried to hit me.i was nothing but calm and polite in trying to explain the situation. This station is designed for fund raising, not community safety. Blatant corruption and the reason for my dashcam purchase.
Very poor service by front desk, the attitude is just at rock bottom, no care given. Went in to get Statutory Declaration sign, but was turn away immediately. Seems to be dependant on the front desk rep's mood. Shame to see these kind of "Professional" in the police force. Waste of tax payer money for the lady to even be there.
Had to get a bunch of my documents certified. Officer Mullane very patiently checked, stamped and signed each of the pages. Very nice and responsible person.
You should be ashamed of yourselves! I was asaulted & robbed 5 days after an operation. My case went to intel as I gave the address where my phone which I had to pay for 2+more years. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO HELP ME & I AM A MIDDLE AGED WOMAN jumped and robbed. But her you people are jumping & tasering a man who is an ex veteran for NZ army then SERVING AUSTRALIA in IRAQ & because they were there in the shade PEACEFULLY -YOU JUMP ON IN TASER HIM then JUMP TASER HIM AGAIN! Prior to that a Man tackled to the ground his chin is completely grazed. JUST REMEMBER THAT WHEN YOU SIGNED UP TO BE A POLICE OFFICER; IT WAS TO SERVE & PROTECT US CITIZENS & NOT OBEY ORDERS EVENTHOUGH YOU KNOW VERY WELL IT IS WRONG! SHAME ON YOU!
Great comms, bit cold aircon in the back of the wagon, handcuffs not too tight, somewhat clean cells, gave me a scolding hot meat pie to get me to talk.
Staff was friendly but if u visiting for any reason I thought transport office had long waiting, I have changed my mind.waited 2 hours was promised 30 min.but in the end they were helpful.
My son was recently assaulted, and robbed at home. Perpetrator has been arrested, charged and held in custody. Thankyou to the Cannington Detectives for all you have done.
My car got vandalised over night near 60 Grose Avenue and I blame the police for not patrolling enough around this area at night or early morning 12AM-3AM. I see lots of dodgy people always wandering around there and I would not be surprised if it is one of them who broke into my car. Please protect the people and make the streets safe for all of us by increasing and driving around this area at night.
Currently on my third visit here, waiting to make a simple assault report, which occurred at a train station several days prior, which was reported to transit officers, whom know the offender and also have CCTV footage. How hard does it have to be to make a report? It's no wonder crimes go unreported.
The police officer which Talked to me was helpful and nice. But the lady at the front desk (reception) was really rude and don’t even know to speak respectfully! She doesn’t even know to respect for people’s privacy! Its really shameful!
Was advised to go here to get a statuary declaration witnessed since i was close by. The officer proceeded to check the application, which is for a completely different department, as if i was submitting it to him. I advised he only needs to witness. He disagreed. I promptly withdrew it and went to my local pharmacy. Daft!
In the two contacts I have had with the officers from Cannington Police I have been very impressed with their professionalism and politeness. I think police do a really tough job and I'm very grateful for what they do.
I'm very proud and happy to know that Cannington Police is shaping up and taking calls more seriously. I called to report domestic violence nearby and they zoomed down in a jiffy. Thank you for really showing up and super fast to save the lady and her baby. Thank you x3
Yesterday my partner and I witnessed a man physically assaulting a woman outside our home on the street. We promptly intervened which is a lot more than what Cannington Police Station did. When we intervened the man came at my partner and I and he instantly became more abusive, physically to the woman and verbally to us and was ready to become physical with myself. This man threatened me, knows where we live and came back to force the woman into a car while physically assaulting her further as she wasn't willing to get into the car that another older woman was driving. All this was happening while my partner was on the phone to this station and we were told that someone would be on their way. We waited outside our home for 45 minutes after, waiting for the police to show and no one came. We were vigilant enough to get photos of the man, the rego of the car and the direction they were going and called the police again once we realised you probably were not coming.
What has to happen for you to attend a violent situation like the one we found ourselves in yesterday? Was this not serious enough?
15 known women have died at the hands of men in 2019 alone. 11 of these women's deaths are allegedly domestic violence cases.
Violence against women is serious, it is killing women and it needs action taken by the people who are meant to be there to protect us and keep us safe.
Tried to call to report a domestic dispute been waiting over half an hour still no answer. I hope the lady was okay.
