My GP DR Essam is the best doctor I ever had and all the workers inside are very helpful and really nice!

I had a great experience with Candlewood Medical Centre today. I called first thing this morning to get my 2yr old daughter in and the only appointment they had was 6: 40 tonight. The receptionist said she’d book that one appointment for me and add me to the cancel list to get in earlier for my little one. About 15 mins later she called me back with a cancellation for 10: 45am. This was very considerate of her to do for me knowing I have two young children. I came to my appointment and waited no longer than 10mins. We sore a brilliant and thorough Dr (Nelly) and she was so kind and excellent with my daughter. I told her it’s nice to find a great Dr who’s good with kids. She also went above and beyond making a booking for myself to come back at 12pm as I’ve been unwell for 2.5 weeks. Again she was thorough and kind during my appointment and I thank her very much. Her prompting me to get checked out I’m sure will lead to me finally feeling better. Thank you Candlewood!

I travel 30 minutes to this medical centre outside of my local area as it’s definitely worth my time doing so. The receptionist staff are accommodating and respectful and the doctors are all really attentive to mine and my families needs. Wouldn’t go anywhere else

All staff are professional and friendly. Dr. Cherly is a great doctor, she is professional, patient and meticulous, and several of my friends and I are very happy to have Dr. Cherly as our family doctor!

Efficient and rapid appointment system. Dr Shafiq is collaborative, knowledgeable and thorough. All my interactions with this doctor and the clinic have been positive.

I have been in agony since November of last year. Candlewood has hand balled me around and extended my suffering.
I have not had 3 solid meals a day since November of last year. And I have a spinal injury and the have my driving around to sign pieces of paper…
The receptionist cannot hear any basic comunication.

The doctors that are left are drowning in the overwhelm of the excessive “new patients as a result of loosing old doctors”

They are overwhelmed

Not only have I not seen any form of humanity or service since doctor Georgina left that they are lucky that I’m so incapacitated by my health that I’ll probably be unable to take legal action….

If your a new patient just don’t

They are busy and you will be on hold for more than 10 minutes every single time you call just to say your name

And you’ll have to say your name 3 times because the receptionist cannot process basic information and treats you like your stupid because she doesn’t process information well or needs a holiday or something.

I give one star cause I can’t give less

Reported to AHPRA as concerned for mispractice in treatment of woman’s sexual and mental health! After 3 appointments could not even secure a referral form.

The team at Candlewood Medical Centre are amazing, so very helpful and professional. The reception team are lovely and always very welcoming and kind.

I’m so glad they’re my local, would recommend them to anyone.

Very very disapointed, expecting to get better thats why i seek a doctor, first of all receptionist very rude, if im healthy and well i wouldnt come here. But she treated me like iv got deadly dease.
Then next, the Doctor Matthew, prescribes me Benadryl which i can just get it over a counter, i told him that iv tried but didnt get any better.
Wish doctor could actual listened to patient problem. And this is private medical centre, not free. So paid a doctor to get a benadryl?

Can only share my experience of this Practice. The admin staff on the desk have always been helpful, respectful, efficient and kind. I Travel quite a few miles from where I live to see Dr. David, best GP I have ever had and I have seen very good ones in my time. So caring, thorough and efficient. Always goes above and beyond. A true healer.

Candlewood said themselves they are “decidedly pro life in its beliefs” I don’t understand how a medical centre can ignore healthcare that saves lives, really says a lot about the quality of doctors there. Will not be returning after an incompetent doctor didn’t inform me the medication he was giving me would interfere with another medication I was taking even though I made sure I stated I was on the combination pill. After seeing this it leads me to think this was on purpose. PSA for Candlewood medical centre, you are here to provide medical care not pick and chose what you deem is medical care. I strongly believe places like this need to be unbiased or out of business.

All the ladies on the front desk are so amazing to deal with, and always so helpful. We love Dr Rhys, Dr David, Dr Georgina and Dr Sheryl, they are all so thorough and professional.

I highly recommend Dr David as a GP. The receptionist are always very friendly professional and polite.

Rude and arrogant receptionist. It not even deserve one star. She is not respectful and not try being helpful at all.

Had a great experience today for the first time at Candlewood Medical Centre. Receptionist was lovely & appointment was on time. Dr Georgina was very nice, happy to have found a good local medical centre.

I highly recommend Dr Cheryl Niu. I have found her to be a very thorough and caring doctor on every occasion that I have seen her.

Big lady, worst service, can't do a her job even at a satisfactory level. Not competant At all

Have brought my daughter to see the doctors here for a couple years, always get the good service, professional doctors, friend nurse and receptionists, highly recommend!

I have been coughed for weeks, last week I went to see a Dr, I usually get my appointment with Dr Georgia. Unfortunately, she wasn't there, and I see the random Dr. She didn't check my throat. Send me home with Alargy medication and 3 days rest. I went back to work on Monday with the worse feeling. They send me home. I went to see another Dr in another clinic. He checked my throat. Gave me antibiotics and 2 other medicine for infected sinus and chest.
I am so mad, Because I stayed home for no reason last week and used all my sick leaves because of unperfessional Dr.

The receptionist was rude. The doctor was rude and not interested. She blamed the medical issue on my personal hygiene. Made me question why i pay this ignorant person through my medicare. I have been a nurse for 30 yrs and have never met a so called professional like her. It was a female doctor.
