Cambray Cheese & Cottages reviews
62 Such a nice tranquil location. Hopping out of the car you're greeted by bird songs and the bleating of lambs.
The display room is small, but amply sized for its purpose.
Staff were friendly and helpful from the beginning. Walking us through a tasting and commenting on the production process of their sheep's cheese.
The cheese itself was delicious. Especially surprising was the swiss, with sweet notes that really jump out at you.
Highly recommend.
I'm not a fan of sheep's cheese but this place is the exception.
We allways stop here on our way through
Amazing variety of very delicious cheeses. I think I bought one of nearly every cheese we tried - can't wait to eat them all.
Very professional shopfront with cheese tastings available. Great range with both sheep and cow cheeses which are very flavourful. Bonuses were the friendly dog, enormous horse and yardful of lambs
It was great we got to taste all there cheeses made from sheep and cows different but tasty. And of course Oliver the very big horse.
Not doing lunch platters.
A bit disappointed as not mentioned on their web page. Understand with Covid however when you drive out especially with a group of people for lunch was a wasted trip as we couldn't taste either due to numbers allowed in shop.
Such a lovely place to visit and the cheeses are just gorgeous. The chilli gouda omg. Just received my first online order today - so happy I can buy their cheeses direct and get delivered now!
Great place to visit and look around. The cheeses are sensational. Highly recommended. Owners are good people.
Yummy cheese, lovely small farm, beautiful historic photo display. Make time in your day to stop in and enjoy their lovely space)
The sheep's milk cheese is sooo yummy. Absolute love stopping in here when in the southwest.
If you love cheese and you only like the best of the best you will love this place. Their Blackwood Blue is a favourite of ours. Beautiful location and lovely people. A must visit if you're in the region.
Well worth a visit and stay for a tasting board. The cheeses were delicious and has something for everyone.
Yum cheese, and happy to include us when watching the milking at 3pm. Great for the kids to see some 'real' farm experience and they explained the process. Scone was also good. Little out of the way but well worth the visit.
Our family enjoyed our visit. Cheese was so good. You could taste both cow and sheep milk varieties. We chose 3 to have a platter with quince jelly and crackers. You can BYO wine to have with it. Lovely! Not too touristy. More like a farm with a small tasting room. Our little girl loved meeting the puppy and the Clydesdale horse, feeding it a carrot supplied by the owners. Would reccomend a visit if you are in Nannup or traveling through.
A great place for cheese tasting and buying some olive oils and onion jams!
The onion jams were delicious. We didn’t buy the cheese but it looks great.
What a lovely little place. This is a small family business and there are no bells and whistles, but it is well worth a visit to enjoy their delicious cheese, home baking and friendly welcome. Time it right and the kids can enjoy the milking too. There are a collection of wonderful old photographs in the old dairy which give some insight into just how resilient those early settlers must have been.
A really nice place to visit.
. It is only small but really nice cheese and you can see it being made. Take a look in the gallery and see the milking shed. Very friendly people.
Lovely small characterful place, small selection of sheep cheeses but all very tasty. Very impressive to actually see the sheep being milked around the back of the shed! A proper working farm, great set up.
We have no plan to come here but accidentally found on the road! Such a perfect surprise. The staff are very friendly to explain all the different Cheese. It was unforgettable.
