Caltex Woolworths / EG reviews
29This place is really a great option when it comes to petrol prices. It's always neat and clean. In-store experience is also great. The staff are friendly.
Cheap on Tuesdays, and cheaper than most pumps as long as you've got the discount rates (woolies)
I have been fueling here for many years and always had very good service from the staff. However today was very different. Due to the fuel cap being on the opposite side. I had the car turned in the opposite direction to fuel. Have done this many times in the past and have seen others do the same with no issues. However today they decided to shut the pump off and had me waiting at the pumps for 5 min before jumping on the PA system. There were two of them in the office even if one of them were serving other customers, the other could have called me in to explain the situation.
Upon asking what the issue was the staff who was standing around answered it's company policy not to fuel with the car in the opposite direction.
Granted if it's company policy why is it not up on the pumps informing the customers. I would have been very happy to comply had I seen the sign.
Personally I don't expect the staff to go off at a customer and say "have you read all the signs posted on the pumps "
Go elsewhere we don't care.
Ampol if you read this. Do your customers a favour and send your staff especially these two on training and behaviour.
Instead of defusing a situation these two were keen on inflamming the situation, even saying that they will call the cops. Is that the solution to someone who is unhappy with your service?
Situated on the low socio economic side of Nicholson Road this storage facility and purveyor of quality fuels often has the lowest fuel prices in the area. The downside of these low prices is the attractiveness to vagrant thorlie leppors, and as a result Holden Commodore drive off with out payings are common. The upside of the low prices however is that you're bound to see at least one centrelink bludging meth addict on every visit, which keeps things interesting provided you can avoid eye contact. The staff luckily are fantastic and friendly and prices of food are as expected from a service station.
There pump counter is wrong.
Just filled up 2 jerry cans with vortex 95.1 x 20L + 1x 5L.
The 5L was not empty and had about 1L + already left in it. Neither jerry can filled to the top, still room in both, and the counter was 28.05L. It is physically impossible to fit an extra 4 or so litres in the containers even if overfilled. Phoned them to tell them they needed to check their counter, didn’t ask for a refund, just letting them know. These things happen and isn’t usually done deliberately. However, I was told to send a customer enquiry to head office and they may action it by sending out a technician if they feel they need to. This will not be a quickly solved issue. Doesn’t seem right that when informed of the issue there was no care or action taken. I have to follow it up with head office, I have to sort out their counter issue for them. They are happy to just keep over counting and charging customers more.
Extremely bad customer service. Used my fuel voucher on other people. I paid once but 2 fuel voucher gone. They refuse to admit that they have used it on other customer. Really bad service.
It is a convenient store nearby where you get things you need urgently and of daily use. Staff is co operative and helpful.
Usually cheap prices on Monday, sometimes Tuesday. Be careful of traffic that gets backed up on the intersection
Well what can i say, it's a petrol station that is a necessity for running my vehicle. Tuesday is the cheap fuel day and they are normally the cheapest in my area. But i shouldn't be saying that because the que on Tuesdays is quite long, now it'll be longer.
This station normally had cheap unleaded fuel. Can be a little hard to get to the pumps but worth the effort.
The fuel here is usually much cheaper and most fuel stations nearby. There is a big queue, however because they have many pumps, the wait time is not much. Lots of staff serving you so the time to pay is quick.
This place on a Monday they should have people doing traffic control the traffic is unnecessary for people to save $2 fair fuel
Used to be my local but the owners are so stuck on cheap fuel offerings that the rest of us can never find a free pump. The queue on cheap days is insane and the staff care little about the traffic jams. Best to keep driving another 5min to Caltex at Livingston shops. Much more civilised servo.
Yes it was really good on Monday when i went as i only had to wait for the two cars at the bowser to fuel up then my turn. Normally on a reasonable price day the ques can be lined up onto Nicholson Road. The fuel was a good price staff are friendly so yes i do enjoy getting my fuel here
The maps app took me to a no entry exit only. Petrol was cheap the service was quick and friendly
Usually one of the cheaper stations in the area but busy and not very accommodating of large volumes of traffic.
Terrible customer service, they act like they own the place and that they’re giving away free fuel. Literally the worst staff always speaking together behind the counter. Very rude
I don't know the name of the lady works Thier during afternoons but yeah I must say best customer service ever I have experienced from her.
Puts up out of order signs every monday night before the price goes up the Tuesday morning. Night staff are not very friendly.
Great place to fill up petrol with low priced fuel mostly and all linked to Woolworths rewards card. That's also helpful from time to time.
