16I've ordered a T-Bone steak with mash. Pros: it was huge, garlic sauce was yummy. Cons: you have to pay $5 extra to get a side of salad (if I remember correctly, I paid around $45-$49)
Staff are great but food is average - below average depending on what you get. For the price it is I would expect better food.
Ordered a hamburger. Patty was store bought, frozen one: flat, greasy, salty. No flavour. Ate burgers here years ago that were big, juicy 'homemafe' patties but no longer. 2/10. The evening prior also ate here. Overpriced fish dish. Never eat here again.
Ordered fish and chips, the chips where the best part, the chips where not good.
Also selling off ribs as a special probably not a good move, staff are nice just needs a new chef that actually wants to plate good food.
Called to check they were still accepting takeout orders at 7: 30pm The lady said they would be for the next 20 minutes. Called back 3 minutes later with my order and was told "we arent taking any more takeaway orders". I said I was the one who called 3 minutes ago to check and she said "well now we are not taking anymore", in a rude tone without apologising.
We appreciate home cooking and simple meals so looked forward to the pub on a rainy night. We ate a dinner meal.not a busy night but all meals were overcooked except for the pizza. Simple meals but quantity over good food.
So so happy with my dinner tonight! Had Pasta of the day, Fetticini, mushroom chicken and pumpkin chunks in a creamy sauce. Diago the Italian chef here is absolutely amazing! And my partners seafood dish was extremely tasty too. I'm a happy pood tonight
Delicious meals that was proper pub food.
Super friendly and accommodating staff.
Dog friendly with the staff actually making sure the water bowl was filled with fresh water for each dog.
We were told it would be a 40 min wait for food which we were fine with but food only took about 10 mins so that made it even better!
Definitely recommend and will be back!
Not fancy, but you won't starve. Was told by the cashier that all dishes that can be made gluten-free are marked as such - no, they're not. Also, the menu on the website and the menu in the premises are vastly different.
None of the kitchen staff have hair tied back. Noisy as hell when it's busy.
Great venue. Charming. Food was good but not great for the price. When it's the only place in town you eat it. Next time I'll be risking the winding roads to another town.
A decade of breakfasts and the occasional dinner, with a gorgeous ol girl for a cook most often. Touch of homestyle in every meal.
Brilliant! Food was great, in fact so good, we went back twice and for breakfast as well. Good value breakfast considering the price included tea/pod coffee/cereal/juices etc. Dinner was huge and very good quality and very quick to come out. We were extremely impressed with the cleaning and sanitising (due to the virus) -all tables, chairs and even menus were all cleaned once finished with. It's a busy place so be sure to book.
Friendly place -rge only working whole the time. Prices average one, food good one. Also you can buy alcohol
Ordered a soda water from the post mix gun. Lady charged me $7 for it. Laughed and said you can’t be serious. She was dead serious. Ridiculous.
Good enough local country pub. Nice ambience, got beer selection.
Food was tasty if nothing fancy. It came quickly though and the service was friendly and helpful
The place could probably do with a spruce up
Can not recommend this place enough. Recently had a spare of the moment stay in Pemberton and decided to go out for dinner. Was wanting a decent pub meal, and got every bit of what we were wanting. Meals were so well priced, and the quality of the food was fantastic. Proper old school pub meals, with friendly local service. Wish there was more of it.
