Cafe Gelato reviews
49$13.50 for a stale chicken schnitzel ciabatta roll that had more air than chicken and the scraps of a tomato. Not great.
It was first time I visit Cafe gelato cafe. The food was so nice. Staff were friendly. I recommend other people to go there as well. I will come back again
Best coffee! Lots of cafes around here but Gelato do the best. AND they're open until 9pm if I need a late in the day fix!
Great Fiori coffee. A very cosy, warm and welcoming environment. Comfortable chair at the back to sit and chat over a cuppa. Love the little details in the store as well. Staff even happily took some photos of visit which was lovely.
The best coffee in Vic park cafe strip. The staff are also very friendly. A must visit spot.
Got pestered twice from two different people within 10 minutes begging for money while awaiting for our waffles. Owner needs more employees, fix that issue and the decorations are all out of place and not making any sense. But regardless of all that the ice cream is like a 6.5/10
I absolutely love this cafe.
I often come here and the lady always remembers what I order. Awesome service and food.
So went in for a coffee
Ended up with the waffles. So many options for Gelato and was quick service.
Lady at the front was nice.
10/10 be back for waffles again
Great coffee but terrible service. On a cafe strip you must be on your game. Cafe Gelato isn't. If you are open for business, be open for business. Closing time is at 9: pm, don't start switching off the lights at 7: 45 with three customers still sitting drinking the coffee. I can say more but I think you get it.
The ham and cheese croissant had barely any cheese in it, it was pretty much a plain croissant with a single slice of ham.
They didn’t even bring our coffee to us when we were dining in.
Definitely not worth checking out especially when there so many other great cafes in the area.
The staff at this place is so kind and generous, always there for their customers. They even gave me free coffee for my birthday and their bakery is always fresh and warm, and they have yummy ice cream for the kids. This is the best cafe to hangout in Victoria Park, I would not go too anywhere else and encourage everyone new to the area to visit Cafe Gelato and enjoy your coffee.
Literally the best coffee. The milk is like silk man. Like, i can't hype this up enough. If you need a coffee, this is it.
Wraps are so bad and comes with a strange string imprinted into, nice outlay and location to sit for a coffee but better options on the stripe.
This Cafe is just delightful. Humble, quaint and relaxing. My favourite go-to's are the apple and blueberry crumble, bubblegum gelato and flat white with oat milk (Go for the large!). The staff are always really kind and sweet to me. I love coming here.
Had waffles and ice cream there a few weeks back and the waffles were quite bad. Looked like some frozen stuff was used or something. I do not recommend for waffles, like at all.
This place was quite nice just a few years back, with the sofa out front, but the 1M degree milk / soy and engagement - lack their of by the staff warrants feedback. Crank it up, listen to music or just move on and do something else.
Had a chicken fritter was really bad all bread no chicken and cost 9.50 would not get food again
Waiting for thee car to be fixed, thought I'd have breakfast here. Limp premade food, wrapped in string that needed a surgeon to remove. When I mentioned this, I was offered another one. No thanks. The coffee is ok
Thought I'd give this cafe a shot as I've always seen this joint fairly busy throughout the day and night. Sad to say, I was fairly disappointed.
Coffee was standard, but I was more upset about the waffles and service that came along with it.
Ordered a regular sized waffle with cream, syrup and gelato. Gelato was a little on the icy side but tasted fine. The waffles, however, tasted sour and lacked any sort of crunch (on the outside) to it.
When mentioned to the person in charge, they defended to say that they had sold more than 10 waffles that day and the batter came from the same jug. Feedback would be passed on to management, however was not offered any compensation nor a remake of the order.
On a better note, the place is cozy and casual. Gelato flavours are aplenty.
Fairly disappointed and would not return.
