Billing is atrocious.
Keep your own records, or be prepared to rifle through the pile of handwritten orders for your table to understand the charges.
Also, be prepared to be overcharged, such as corkage. A 4yo at your take has a seat, and therefore is charged.
The Owner swears under her breath and turns away, making nasty faces with most customers.
They're understaffed during peak evening hours on Saturday's.
There's not much in the way of acoustic absorbing furniture, so be sure to sit next to anyone you wish to talk with, as you won't hear anyone else at your table.
The cooks and staff are otherwise fantastic.
It's probably a better venue when not so busy.

I went with my family and ordered a variety of things, the Alli Olio Spaghetti was all bloated, and the Chili Muscle was lukewarm and not spicy at all.
The pizza is like frozen pizza.
A hair came out of the garden salad, so the manager kindly changed it for me. The seafood pasta had fresh squid and shrimp, and the noodles were cooked well and delicious.
The space was spacious and the staff were friendly. There seemed to be a variety of desserts, but the quality seemed low so I didn't eat them.

Went last night for a family dinner because Ciao Italia was closed (best Italian in Perth). Firstly, when our garlic bread arrived, one serving was fine but the other serving was just the end bits of the loaf. Horrendous. How can you look at that and think it is okay to serve to customers? Secondly, aligo e olio was bland. Literally was just spaghetti with oil…. Marinara was fine but nothing compared to ciao Italia. Chicken parmigiana wasn’t good, vegetables came with some brown, weird sauce. Odd…. Pizza was ok. Chilli mussels were COLD, tasted like they were heated up for 10 seconds in the microwave before being served, had to take away the rest of the mussels because it was unbearable to eat any more. They weren’t fresh either. Our salad was served with hair in it but that was replaced for us. Service was nothing special. Would never go back again…….

The food and service were great, but some softening of the environment would go a long way to being able to have a conversation with the person over the table.

We read the reviews and thought we’d give it a try, as had had a coffee in there prior and it had a nice Italian family run feel, which reminded us of when we lived in Spain for years.

Very very disappointing, hadn’t quite finished our starters when they asked if we were ready for our mains. We said not quite yet, we’d would like a breather first. Within seconds the food arrived but we asked for a little bit longer as we were still eating the starter, which wasn’t the best antipasto but we were hungry.

When we did ask for the mains to be cooked, they turned up within minutes and you could tell they had been reheated using a microwave. The Spaghetti Bolognese was very over cooked where the pasta was sticking together and not al dente and the sauce was not nice. The Saltibocca was much the same with the meat very dry, sauce had dried up and generally not good. We were asked how the food was as we’d left most of it and explained the above. The waiter apologised and said it was freshly made. Then a female waitress said that they’d been freshly cooked, as the ones they’d already cooked while we were eating our starter had been passed to the staff and the other meal given to the Uber driver. This we felt wasn’t true but if it was then it makes the food even worse. They did offer a free coffee or dessert but by then we just wanted to leave 9: 15pm. They did not take the meals off the bill or even offer to so we stupidly paid for very bad quality food. As mentioned we had chosen the place as it seemed to be an authentic Italian family run restaurant but we felt rushed, so more like a fast food place, not a pleasant experience, especially as one of the older female staff told us off for complaining in front of the owners table, this was in our mind very rude and unprofessional. Other staff members however were very polite, but we would still not recommend or go there again.

This cafe restaurant is a go too when I’m in town, my family has morning coffee catch-ups and lovely evening meals. Excellent service, great coffee, wonderful food

It was a really good restaurant. Ordered the best pasta (i recommend the bella rosa pasta) got amazing customer service and one service particularly stood out by a girl worker. Will definitely recommend and definitely go back there for some more food!

Service was horribly disgusting. I was alone and I was offered to choose a table and then no one came to check on me. After 10 mins a girl shows up and confusingly asked if I was waiting for anything and I said no am by myself and am ready for order. No water was served, no entree plates were served. Other tables were treated like a customer but I wasn’t. I had to ask for a water, I had to ask for a straw. Food was great but considering the fine dinning restaurant the service was absolutely disgusting! Treat everyone equally. If you can’t treat single customer with the same respect then just say you don’t provide service for single customer.

I love this place! Lovely friendly staff and owner. Simple, comfortable, welcoming decor and ambiance. EXCELLENT food including traditional style carbonara YAYYYYY, varied menu, dangerously delicious desert cabinet and outstanding house red and white, excellent coffee. Wether breakfast, lunch, dine-in (including solo), takeaway BRILLIANT

Visited this Cafe over the weekend for a family function. Food was terrible, small potions and not enough for all the guests. Staff were rude and their appearance was horrible, maybe they should tie their hair up and appear presentable when serving customers.
DISGUSTING NEVER AGAIN!

I went into get a coffee. The guy seems he didn't wanted to be there. The coffee he gave me was already made before I ordered.

I'm not going back there again

I've been to Cafe Bella Rosa a number of times over the years and have always really enjoyed their food. It's always tasty and very generous portions. However last night I went with a friend and was enjoying my meal and ended up with a piece of metal scourer in my mouth. I told the waitress and showed her and she simply said, oh that's probably just been stuck in the pan. To which I said it was inside the chicken filled with spinach. She may have said a brief "sorry about that" but really didn't care. And that's all I got. I didn't get an apology from the Cafe owner whatsoever. So I'm thoroughly disappointed by my last visit here. Yes this can happen anywhere accidentally, but how it was managed in response wasn't good enough. I think it will be a while until I visit again.

Popped in unexpectedly at 830 on a Friday night. The service was efficient and friendly and the Brocoletti was tasty. Would definitely come back and is worth circumnavigating the road works for.

Still continues to be a great local cafe restaurant and continues to have really good coffee & food. The staff are great, they know us and we know them. Our kids love to go there as well.

I had the squid ink pasta with crab on Friday 29th. It was super delicious. I look forward to my next meal there!

A great dining experience with awesome wait staff. Good proportions and a nice atmosphere.
