Cafe 48 reviews
16 A nice, clean & modern style cafe with attentive service. I ordered a chicken burger, which was generous in size and flavour combination & my dining partner ordered battered fish & chips, which was fresh and flavoursome. Coffees were well brewed, brought to the table very quickly and rich in flavour with a deep, dark roast.
In summary, a pleasant and fulfilling experience-I’ll be back.
The only positive I can say about the food is that there was plenty of it.
The service was ok
The atmosphere was terrible, clearly not a happy workplace. Needs a manager with people skills from what I saw.

During covid they treated people badly (far beyond what was dictated by McClown) and coffee is bitter and horrible. Would never go there again.
The food was great. Toasted sandwich was yummy. Bread was soft and toasted perfectly. Thank you!
Just had one of the best pizza's that I've had in a long time.
To all the haters out there that give this crew a bad review I say to you go get a life cos you need to.
Best chicken parmy, was a bit small but it's not a restaurant anyway. Great as a stop in for food and coffee
Calm environment with plenty of seats. Friendly staff and great service. The Benny wrap for breakfast was excellent.
The best hot chocolate ever! Hot, rich and chocolatey. Tuna panini was very tasty, nice and fresh. A lovely lunch all in.
Small but friendly Cafe next to the local IGA.
Only comment is the teapots could be a bit larger and when you ask for hot water on the side, something larger than a thimble would be appreciated.
Had a short stop at Cafe 48 on our way south today. My husband and I had a bacon and egg toasty. It would have be the best one we have ever had. The coffee was really good too.
Always great service, very yummy food and a great place to sit for a meal, inside when it's cold and outside (dog friendly) when the sun is shining.
Will never return to this place. Found staff to be extremely rude and they should read the covid rules properly before creating their own.
There are better places for coffee within walking distance, small locally owned places that aren't trying to dominate the entire towns trade in groceries, liquor and cafes under a single owner.
Bought coffee and muffin takeaway as we were driving through. Muffin was the worst. Burnt and solid. Disgusting thing.
1st time experience.
Staff are very efficient and friendly, everybody says hello. All round a good experience will return.
