C Restaurant in the Sky reviews
76 Extremely disappointing, we had a reservation booked for a month for our anniversary yesterday, Sunday at 1.30pm, when calling to make the booking no one informed us that the kitchen would take last orders at 1.45 and kitchen closes at 2pm. But when we rang to say we were running 10 minutes late as traffic was bad we then were told abruptly that the kitchen stops at 1.45pm. I then said that we wouldn't make it and just to cancel, I was upset as I was really looking forward to the experience.
But then the same girl rings me at 2.30pm asking where we were and I told her that when I spoke to you last that I said to cancel it, she then continues to back chat and argue that I never cancelled and that she never told me the kitchen closes at 2pm, I was so confused, I have managed in hospitality and the way I was spoken to on the phone I would have written warnings out or close to firing this girl.
Considering also we paid $40 wether we show up or not you still get the $40. Be cautious with booking and kitchen times.
Ended up at the Rambla on Swan and had a fantastic afternoon
Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone even for the view. Tired and poorly presented good and the drinks are not cold enough.
Food was too rich and creamy. Fish meal needs lemon or lime something other than creamy sauce. Crayfish over cooked and rubbery.
Whilst the location and the view is divine, the service was somewhat questionable.
The food wasn’t brilliant and specifically, the duck was not cooked and feel this contributed to a nasty bout of food poisoning. We also felt rushed to leave and overall not the best time we have had here.
Poor service, ordered coffee twice which never came then appeared on the bill. Minimal topping up of glasses. Missed servings.
Great food. Felt dizzy the whole time from the spinning
Obviously a sensational view. Food was good. Our entrees plates sat in front of us for over 20 mins once we'd finished, we poured our own wine. I just expected more. Would I revisit? No. There are plenty of alternatives
Quite overrated. Great venue and service which justifies the prices. However with the exception of the house gnocchi the food quality / taste left a lot to be desired, especially when compared to similar style restaurants such as Aqua in Hong Kong. I enjoyed the room service steak I ate the previous night before more.
The staff were very professional and friendly hence service was good. Food presentation was excellent but portion was incredibly small and lacking any wow factor taste wise. Parking was scarce and exorbitant erring on the side of extortion for a Friday lunch. For me, sadly it didn't live up to the hype everyone else was making.
If you're after the views from level 33, and don't mind the price tag, it's not a bad place to have a classy afternoon tea. Do be warned that it will cost $47-$58 per person and only a small selection of sandwiches and scones are provided. At that price bracket, you might be better off at Epicurean.
High tea was ok - I've had much better at other (less fine dining) venues in Perth. GF version was also only okay.
Service was excellent, very friendly and accomodating. While the food wasn't bad, it wasn't exceptional. A nice afternoon and experience with the view but not a place I will be going back to.
Beautiful view, friendly service but was disappointed with crayfish meal n rack of lamb. Cray wasn't presented in shell n rack of lamb was what looked liked 3 crumbed loin chops. But all tasted Beautiful.
High Tea lovely, would have preferred more savoury though, customer service great, decor needs updating, for a restaurant of high class I would expect the decor to match, the fabric is tearing and toilets were dirty, definately needs updating. Cannot just rely on the view for the high prices.
Foods alright: we both had the crayfish main course, and while one piece of our crawfish was fresh and beautifully done, the other piece left a powdery feeling on the palate and tasted wierd. The flip side though was that the restaurant has a view to die for. 2 thumbs up for that!
Amazing food and great service. BUT! Be prepared to pay $40 just to sit in window seat! They charge $40 for nothing if you sit in window table!
I went to the C in the sky for my birthday dinner. The food and view were 10/10 but unfortunately the service was lacking. They told us that there wasn’t a booking for us even though we had the text to confirm then once sat at a table is took 30min before we were served and not asked for our drinks. We ended up getting our starters then entree all at the same time and our drinks after where we were given the wrong amount. We couldn’t get the attention of our waiter as he was barely in the section for the whole night even though it appeared to be quite at the time of our booking.
We went for dinner and chose the Degustation Menu.food was magnificent our only complaint was that we had paid for matching wines and they were very slow in delivering the wines which is not meant to be the
experience we expected could not fault everything else
Been there for our anniversary.food was amazing as usual, drinks n staffs too, good for special occasions, need to be booked, car park small
The place is absolutely beautiful! Very trippy when you actively realise you're moving
The atmosphere as a subtle chatter to it and it's very calm but not pretentious.
The staff are absolutely wonderful and were able to cater the degustation menu to my halal diet with I was very thankful for.
The food was made very well and a 5 course menu was a new and exciting experience! Can't wait to come back in the future on day:)
I had yet another superb meal at C Restaurant. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Lots of great flavours perfectly balanced. The Lobster was perfectly cooked and the orange dessert was divine. Great wines available by the glass. I had the Leeuwin Estate bubbles. With the great food, wine and view.whatelse could you want? Can't wait to return.
This restaurant is one of those places that has a memorable experience. The pace on which you rotate around the place is quite at a good speed, so you won't feel like you're in a carnival ride. As a plus the view from the top here was also very nice as it overlooked the city and the parks that surround it. The food however was a bit underwhelming for me, I'ts not bad but it was a bit worse that i expected, however the design on the plates was quite an art as they used different ingredients to express warmth and earthiness into each dish. Overall it was a great experience, Definitely recommend.
