BWS Perth reviews
28Amazing service, awesome team here. Very personal service. Even ordering online they are super considerate. I ordered a carton of wine and they made sure at least one bottle was cold ready to be consumed despite not being asked. I think that's pretty amazing! Thanks
Like all the BWS's but it is handy if you're staying in the East end of Perth CBD. They do have extra security on during nights which is a bit concerning for the area.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting BWS Perth, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The store's inviting ambiance and well-organized layout immediately caught my attention. The staff at BWS Perth were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They went above and beyond to assist me in finding the perfect beverages for my occasion. Their expertise in recommending various wines, beers, and spirits based on my preferences was truly impressive. The selection at BWS Perth was extensive, with an impressive range of local and international options. Whether you're a wine connoisseur, a craft beer enthusiast, or simply looking for a classic spirit, you'll find an abundance of choices here. The shelves were well-stocked, and the variety ensured that there was something for everyone.
Friendly staff. Security is on the ball considering its location. Not a huge variety of wines but does the job.
Love my local BWS they always have great specials, the team are fantastic always polite, happy and helpful. The shop is always clean and tidy. Parking out the back is a bit tight in a big vehicle. And there's not many carparks so your better off walking or parking In Hay street.
BWS hay st East Perth is a good well stocked liquor store with great service and prompt. Staff always super friendly and efficient. Large cool room, plenty of bags of ice and just a good sticked store.
Look out for BWS specials.
They have a rear entry next to the hire care company on Bennett Sr, and a front entrance on hay Street. At night the rear entrance is locked so use the front main entrance. Don't think the store is closed as it's not.
Also after 5pm make sure you take ID as they will ask you for it if you look under age or anyone with you is under age otherwise they won't allow you to purchase alcohol. They have security guards there.
Always a pleasure to come here. The staff have always been friendly and happy to help when I couldn't find something.
Macho man Indian security guard denied me to come in to buy alcohol because I had already been in earlier that day to buy a couple of beers …
Love it, plenty of variety, and as a whisky collector they really know how to help and there's plenty to choose from. Love this
Very close to the bus stop and friendly staff
And also they have a good variety of collection in wine and Beer
The beer is warm here the staff member said it’s because there fridge doesn’t work properly …. Good one
Super friendly staff that took the time to make sure the right discount was being applied to my purchase. A great selection of craft beers too!
Awesome staff and great selection. I saw a few negative reviews and wondered how that happened? !? It's a shop that sells alcohol.how can you be unhappy with that? !? Lol
Seriously tho, awesome place and never had a bad experience.
On the corner.it's a well known shop.hay Street comes through it with a tab also just down the road, many shops and hotels and even supermarkets and pubs, post office, ATMs, laundry Matt's, chemist, car dealerships and more.
Quick service & friendly staff.
I’ve placed an online order (actually mistakenly from here since I usually buy from Murray street location) and didn’t request my order to be kept cold but they did keep it cold for me which was pretty considerate of them.
Rocked up on a Friday arvo to grab a 10pk of cold cans but they were all out on the shelf. I just wanted to commend one of the staff here, Curtis, for checking in the back for me to find the pack I was after, overall a great experience.
To the guy who took his frustration out on me at the Hay st store tonight (which he admitted) when i questioned the requirements to scan into the covid app when getting take aways.i have been on site since 19th of january and this wasnt in place last time i was in that store. Just the same as you shouldnt have to put up with customers bad moods i shouldnt have to put up with yours either. Not first time iv experienced bad customer service here either, but it will be my last time i’ll put up with it. You might read this and say im ‘full of it’ but if you actually think you handled that professionally then you may need to rethink your idea of customer service or BWS may need to look at retraining
I am giving this five stars based on the help we got from Amy! Amy is awesome, such a nice way about her helping my wife and I, in fact the best service I have ever had from a BWS store, normally i go there for convivence, as the staff in my experience have not been that friendly, Amy is the exception!
This used to be a great little bottle shop In the heart of the city. The only issue was parking (But it's the city) so you could live with that, for many years it was actually my local it was great staff were sharp well presented and helpful, the place was clean and easy to get around and the fridges were always stocked. Now I would sooner drive 20 minutes up the road and pay more to get my drinks than shop here and I'm happy to do it. The staff all changed and the place went to the gutter. Service is Poor to non existent. You always feel rushed and they treat people poorly, there is several occasions where i watched the staff being rude to patrons. The fridges are never stocked properly always having to get your warm drinks of a pallet. Or sometimes they won't even open the pallet up. You can see what you want right under the plastic but you can't get to it and there is nothing in the fridge. It has become cluttered and messy and as such I refuse to shop here any more. Don't waste your time or money for a terrible experience and worse service. Take your money up the road it is better spent.
Good place to buy liquors, staff seems have good knowledge of alcohols, a bit hard to find parking.
