BWS Murray Street reviews
17 Be careful with the security guard. This men doesn’t want to go inside without an ID.
So we show our ID … HOWEVER … if it’s an ID from an other country and your friend have a passport It’s not good cause your need to have both passport.
NB: we are adults with legal documents. So logical to refuse access to this store. (not at all)
NB2: if your friend comes back solo with his passport, it still won't be good.
The two teenagers behind the counter carried on a conversation while I waited to be served. The store also had a strange odour of urine.
Why are you closed at 455 if the website advertising 5 then we get greeted by a security guard who looks like he wants to kill us with his arms folded and attitude. Hopefully you get the business you deserve
Never again
When did the rule come in that you can only buy 6 pack and come in to your shop one time? I'll not be using BWS again! Security guard was a w***** too
To the security guard who instantly recognised I’m hearing impaired and asked the staff to take off the masks tonight so I can lip read you made my day? And to the other staff who were so kind about it thank you soooo soo much
BWS Murray Steet Mall in Perth
Visited on 28/5/2022
It is the liquor arm of Woolwoths, and it is just next to it. It is near the Barrack Street end, not really highly visible from the Mall.
This is not a big store compared with some BWS, and it is not located next to a carport which can be very convenient for customers who may buy a lot for big parties.
I
Not that I am a drinker, I can always find what I need from BWS, and this is no exception. I do not quiet understand what it means by the quiet hour between 10: 30 am to 11: 30 am.
Bws is a good place to buy some nice wine for you and your wife.if you can not find any Drinks that suit you and your friends.l recommend this is the place to buy some nice wine and many more.
Great range of wine, spirits and beers.and the rows are well sign- posted.
(so you don't have to wander around aimlessly because the attendant is too busy to help you find what you are looking for!)
Convenient placing of a BWS but the bounces always look really surprised when I’m actually over 18.
Weird store policy: I went to buy wine and the cashiers asked me to show my proof of identification in strictly in the form of international passport or Australian driver’s license. And when my friend showed her passport to make the purchase for me, they rudely said since we are together, both of us need to show our individual passports. And the tone in which they said was purely racist.
Seriously impressive! Stumbled across Ed this gem accidentally and now going to make it a must stop every time we are in Perth.
Nice bottle shop with plenty of brands, reasonable price, just beside a supermarket at Murray st. Mall
Needed a rapid slurp of Russian cordial! Sky vodka $35 here & $59 on Lake St in Northbridge, 5 min walk away.
Arrogant and ignorant Security staff provokingly refused us admission. You can either use your brain and let us in (we had national id, drivers license and Australian university id that showed our age is 25) or you can be friendly and refuse admission due to the law that we have to provide our passport. But this guy was nuts
I was hunting for a very specific item which they did not have in stock, instead of turning me away they went out of there way to look for store around the area that possibly have it in stock. Although I left empty handed, left a happy customer.
Quick and easy for last minute shopping. Quite small but still has a good range.
Staff a very helpful and there is often wine tastings.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. I like coming here because it is convenient and right next to Woolworth supermarket so I can buy groceries and alcohol within the same place and save time. I love it sometimes they ask for my ID and sometimes they don't. I just take it as a compliment because I am old enough but is not funny when I forget my ID and they won't sell alcohol to me but I understand they are just doing their job.
