I want to share the experience of my son who wanted to buy me an extra birthday gift. He went into the store today 24th March and was browsing the gin selection and asked the male assistant if he could open the cabinet as he had spotted the gin he wanted to treat me to. The way the assistant replied to him was blatantly rude with a "how dare you disturb me from my paperwork" attitude. We all have off days but being polite costs nothing!

I walked in to look for two bottles of different wines, I decided to look for myself first before asking for help. There were two ladies on shift one was extremely tall with long brown hair and one was old with glasses and really orange looking. I went to the counter to ask if they had the wine I was looking for and showed the ladies a photo, she quickly said "no sorry" and continued talking with the other employee even though I was not finished talking, I then asked again but for another wine and again - she quickly gave it a small glance and said "no" and continued speaking to the other employee, I felt very rushed and like they didn't care about what I wanted to buy. They didn't recommend me any wines that were similar, I am quite disappointed with the way I was treated here.

Good range, fair price. Only drama was a lot of product was in glass locked cabinets. Which the cashier needed to walk over to unlock and get your bottle. Which is fine for one customer but when there is a few it takes time. Friendly staff

Do not forget to bring your personal identification to buy and more if you are a foreigner, today at 3: 20 p.m. The lady who attends the BWS of Joondalup was too rude, I went shopping with my boyfriend and we forgot to bring the passport, he se He brought it back and asked for mine too but he didn't have it, so he didn't want to sell us, if those are the rules I accept it, but he did it in a very rude way, don't hire staff who don't have the gift of customer service (unfortunately I didn't take the lady's name, but she wore glasses and had curly hair)

Spacious and easy to see products, unsure why, everything, like spirit s is behind, lock and key but ok.
Not a lot of specials, so quite expensive.
Today, I give you a 2, because there is no good marketing at all, place looks very basic and no effort.
For the prices, you need to do something.

Huge shop! Lots of choices with a big range. Unfortunately could not find the wine we wanted but staff tried to help & looked on line for us. Plenty of parking right out front makes carrying bottles easier. Efficient friendly service.

Apparently BWS have their own proof of age regulations. Recently some friends tried to buy alcohol. They were asked for ID - one produced a current (non WA driving licence with photo) showing her age as 24 years old. This was not accepted. The other produced his current passport showing his age as 20 years of age. But because the DL was not accepted neither could not be served. The Liquor Act states a current DL. It does not state WA only, if the person buying the alcohol is the accepted age.
One star just for being open!
