Unpleasant Encounter with Staff

I recently had a disheartening experience a BWS epson avenue when a staff member treated my friend and me poorly. Upon entering the store, the staff member name BRIAN accused my friend of theft without any basis, and to our shock, proceeded to use offensive language towards us.

This unprovoked and disrespectful behavior was both uncalled for and unprofessional. It not only created an uncomfortable atmosphere for us but also tarnished our perception of the store. Customer service is paramount, and encountering such unwarranted hostility is disappointing.

I strongly urge the management to address this issue promptly to ensure a welcoming and respectful environment for all customers. No one should be subjected to baseless accusations and offensive language while trying to shop.

I hope that by sharing this experience, the store can take the necessary steps to prevent such incidents from happening in the future and maintain the reputation of providing quality service to its customers.

Has what I need at a good price. Would like it if they could change closing time to 9pm instead of 8: 30 pm

It's ridiculous asking ALL 5 guys in a car for ID when buying alcohol.cellarbrations is 1000 times better than bws.

Our favourite local bottle shop due to proximity, friendly service, and regular product specials.

Only went there once. Just popped in to grab a coke. Actually a diet coke on my way home from work

The woman behind the counter was complaining loudly about how she needed a new job. Sorry you're unhappy to be paid to work- perhaps find a new job you like?

But no- this person decides the way to handle this is to take it out on customers. I couldn't buy a couple of bottles of wine because apparently I looked too young- flattering thanks but very odd.

Showed ID (drivers license and Medicare App with DOB) on my phone and she made up a rule it had to be 'physical ID'- this is not stated on the website or anywhere visibly.

I think she may have been sampling the product as judging by the self satisfied smirk on her face - good service, common sense and courtesy were not part of her current skill set. Hopefully this review inspires her to move on so she finds a new job she likes, BWS employs people happy to do their job and I can buy wine for my family dinner: P

While staying just a couple of nights at a local room rental via AirasiaGo, this place is in close walking distance, thus perfect to pick up a cold drink or some snacks along your walk through the neighborhood. Staff is very friendly, and it's fun to strike up a conversation with the cashiers with an American accent. Great, little neighborhood store.

It's alcohol and lots of it. Quite a good selection of whatever takes your fancy to take your mind off all the troubles in the world plus there is ice to keep it cold. If you're lucky you may even get to see one of the locals bolting out the door with their 5finger discount.

The young girl couldn't be bothered to help. It was a Sunday and I will never go if she is there again, I will just walk out. The guys that are there through the week are just fabulous and always there to help.

Great choice of beers, wines and spirits. Ample specials to choose from. Great layout and friendly customer service. Ideal for a quick shopping visit to stock up for a party or just replenishing the bar fridge. Parking available also easy access form car park. Check times out before going, as public holidays may alter opening and closing times.
