Butler Village Med Centre is an excellent GP centre. I have had the pleasure of seeing a few doctors here and I have felt, safe and supported with each one. The compassion from everyone here is something else, from the amazing Admin to the lovely Nurses and the very professional GPs within the practice. Never had a problem with waiting always kept informed and in the loop. Emergencies take precedence here and as they should, I'm happy to wait all day for my GP because the service here is second to none.

What can I say Dr Joel Tan, last time here waited 2hrs past my appointment time, sat here now nearly an hr for this one and still one person before me. Time keeping does not seem to be this Doctor’s strong point. Three people were already in waiting room when you turned up. Sorry I am changing my Doctors and will not be back to see him.

Had an appointment booked for my sick daughter at 2pm. Got to see the doctor at 3pm and when we got through I couldn’t believe Dr Joel Tan is a trained doctor. An arrogant, horrible man let alone a doctor. Zero compassion, wouldn’t look you in the eye while having a conversation and when pronouncing my surname, after correcting him once, he deliberately pronounced it incorrectly again. He is a travesty of a doctor and if he is the only option, we will not be back. And I will be telling other people to avoid. Such a shame because we’ve had lovely experiences every other time.

Waited 45 mins after my appointment time, still didn’t get to the doctor
The place is useless. AVOID!

I went to clinic after years of not going there and they were fantastic. I had a complex issue to deal with and the GP I saw went over and above to help me with no medical records at this clinic yet. The Staff too are kind and helpful. Recommend this Practice to any one who wants Top health Care …

AVOID "Dr" JOEL TAN like the plague. Apparently he has only been there for a few weeks and racked up quite a bad reputation for himself already. Saturday morning hubby had the first appointment at 9am and Joel was 30 minutes late. Then today my husband waited 1.5 hours at a callback appointment for test results from Joel.only to be asked by Joel why he was there and that there was no problem with the results. Didn't even help my husband with his problem.
Absolutely no consideration for anyone's time and totally useless "doctor" - and I use the term very loosely.

I have been seeing Dr Berman and other staff at the Butler Village medical centre since it opened and feel it’s time to express my thanks to such a caring and professional team. I would not see another health professional if I could possibly help it such is my confidence in the team there. Very happy patient

Sue went above and beyond for me today, I needed an emergency check up by my regular doctor, sue helped me out and juggled a few things around and got me an appointment in which I’m so so thankful for.

Just had the worst experience I've ever experienced at a medical centre, a " RACHEL" answered the phone and I was explaining my circumstances, I'd received a text to come see my doctor, this morning i missed a phone call from Butler medical village centre, so I returned call, and "RACHEL" answered phone, she explained to me that because i wasn't seeing my regular doctor I would incur a fee? I said that has to be incorrect because you people contacted me re the appointment, , she replied to me "don't raise your voice at me " iam bewildered? I then explained iam not not raising my voice at you? She repeated her statement then proceeded to hang up the phone my advice to you people avoid this person, what ever her problems are I believe she should not be at the service desk, serving people in various medical situations.

I am very grateful that Butler Village Medical Centre has become the medical centre to manage my health. All staff, both medical and reception who I have dealt with, I have found to be efficient, obliging, courteous and in my opinion, they are striving to do the best they can for their patients on every day they turn up to their work.
A special acknowledgement to Dr Burman who listens attentively to your problems and I have found him to be the quintessential caring and astute medical professional.
As I have said earlier, I am deeply grateful that Butler Village Medical Centre are my team, on my side.

This medical centre has very caring receptionist staff, I have no idea where the bad reviews came from about them they are always pleasant to me and helped me through difficult situations. The doctor's I have been to here can be very helpful. I am bulk billed and appreciate it a lot because I know they are losing money from bulk billing me. No one is perfect but I found the doctor's to be professional and also willing to help even if that means booking more appointments because they can't do everything in the alloted time. Doctors are struggling with income and if you have to be bulk billed you need to be able to work with the GP to best address your health concerns, unfortunately this is the reality due to lack of Medicare rebate increases.

Horrible experience. If I could rate 0 I would.

The doctor I saw today was rude, condescending and patronising. Where you’d expect a doctor to listen to their patient and show understanding, he repeatedly cut me off, talked to me like I was stupid and at one point raised his voice, arguing with me when I was trying to answer his questions. This was all because I didn’t remember the name of the medication that was prescribed at a previous doctor surgery. Instead of trying to find out more information, he was instantly dismissive, saying that if I wanted help I should have been able to give him more information.

When I asked him why he was speaking to me in such a rude way, he became defensive and more argumentative, at one point wheeling his chair to closer to my face to talk at me.

Doctors are meant to try help. When a patient asks for help and then express they don’t feel comfortable and embarrassed at how they are being spoken to, they should not be treated in such a disgusting way.

Saw Dr. Daniel Keating back in November and I can confidently say he couldn’t get me out of his office fast enough. I had given him my symptoms and he had barely listened to my chest before immediately deciding It was just inflamed airways and prescribing me a variation of inhaler (I’m 17 yrs old). It has now been 2 months and I’m in hospital with acute heart failure

I watched them turn away an old lady for wanting to use the toilet and made her walk over to the dome cafe instead. The admin ladies are really rude with Sour looks on their faces. Change your policy its not as if the old lady was going to make a mess of your toilet and using the toilet Is a basic human right.
I find it so wrong that you are a healthcare facility and you turn people away for needing the toilet. And maybe smile once in awhile

My current medical centre in joondalup allows the public to use the toilet.
There are 0 covid cases in WA.
Disgraceful medical centre.
