Bunnings Joondalup

Rude staff. The first time I went to the Joondalup store I was with my housemate and they couldn’t make it anymore obvious that they thought we were shoplifters. The assistant not only searched through the products we’d paid for and checked the receipt but also made us open up our handbags, meanwhile other people were allowed to walk past without being checked. I’m assuming we were targeted as we were taking our time being in a new store and my housemate’s appearance (she has severe mental illness and can sometimes look a little odd). On another occasion I asked a young male assistant where I might find a particular product and that I’d previously purchased it at another Bunnings the guy literally barked at me “Yeah? And? We don’t sell that at this store. ” On another occasion asking for help the woman actually tutted as if I’d greatly inconvenienced her. The only people there who were helpful and polite were the ladies at the paint counter, especially the American girl. The only reason I go there at all is because it’s close by

Same as all bunnings in Australia you buy what they tell you to buy and when you should buy their over price chinese products

I needed to replace my old mover and went to Bunnings Joondalup to see what was on offer. Whilst looking at the movers on display l was approached and assisted by staff member, Liam. Liam gave me great customer service and his knowledge of stock on hand was very impressive. As a result of his assistance l purchased a new mover and am very happy with it. This is the reason why l go to Bunnings because they employ staff who are happy to assist and give you the required information in order to make your purchase. If you need to get a new power appliance for your garden l highly recommend you see Liam to assist you with your needs.

I attended Joondalup yesterday looking for a specific Ryobi chainsaw. I was served by Gary who was extremely helpful and friendly. When I couldn’t find what I wanted he suggested the promotional products at the front, where I found exactly what I wanted and more.
I was very impressed by the time and effort Gary put into helping me with my purchase. Regards, Ni Cameron

Tbh even though the website helps at each site each Bunnings in different.the lack of floor staff can be annoying being the few that are in the floor are helping customers.i. Also suggest more self serve checkouts during the busy times.fhe weekend snaggas at Bunnings are still the best

Terrible garden experience. People should boycott Bunnings plants. I’ve been trying to buy various punnets of plants for 2 years, they are very common plants that any gardener would buy for a spring garden, Bunnings never order enough! They keep saying the same thing “sold out”, “not available”, “don’t know”. Etc etc.terrible lack of service and understanding of planting cycle. A total shambles.

Everytime i visit this store I am annoyed with the staff that are to busey talking to one another than attending to the customers. The service desk is a typicial example you wait untill they are ready to serve you all leaving at once from this inportnent area Now the service desk at the entrance to the store follows again cant be bothered to assist simply ignore you p lease bring back the compertition

Bunnings is one of my favourite stores, the branch in Joondalup is very nice. I love that I can go there and find any tool for any job. The staff are helpful, the prices are reasonable, and the range of products is huge!

How wonderful to shop on a Saturday when there were so many activities for kids. Specially the free popcorn and fairyfloss.

Horticulturist in Garden section are useless they clearly don't wont to be there and offer No help whatsoever, have spoke with them on many occasions & they don't want a bar of it, go to MINDARIE Bunnings the lady there is Amazing loves her job clearly! Worth the drive.

Had a terrible customer service on the trade desk from a woman named Jenny. (3 staffs were at the counter and no customer) Obviously it's too difficult to reprint a 2 weeks old receipt even the purchased was made on a power pass card. The gentlemen at information desk (Andrew who work alone with a long que of customers) was very helpful and polite.

Sprawling warehouse, maze like feel. It's huge but doesn't feel like it. A bit impersonal. I've never left empty handed, always able to find what I need there but I do miss the smaller boutiques that have personal, real knowledgeable staff.

Never go to trade desk and ask for there timber cutting service. As they will only do 2 cuts and even when you are willing to pay for additional cuts they will not cut them. Bunnings

I'm a big fan of Bunnings, spent fair a bit of money lately in this shop buying tools (not only) for my DIY work shop. Never had any dramas at the information desk, stuff is friendly and always happily refunded or replaced a faulty item. But there's a guy in the tool section who should be put through some customer service induction or training as he's never been overly friendly to me (not everyone is so not a biggie) but every time I brought something back for replacement (and we're talking brand new tools which were faulty) he tried to blame me for the fault or trying to tell me that's it ok as it is, or not believing me, etc. Not happy with him. Otherwise as good as Bunnings can be.

Love Bunnings. Great store. Always come out with a bargain. Staff know their product. Neat uniforms. Coffee shop is handy. Plants are lovely. Shop is always stocked well.

Well I visited Bunnings Joondalup today about 2.45pm looking for a paper towel holder.
The first staff member screwed up her face and said a what.
Along came an older staff member obviously leaving for the day and she said to me to go to fixtures section.
Came across an older member who told me this is a big store so not sure where to look.
Then I found Dee. What an amazing young man.
Said.let's see. Got out his Bunnings phone and found the aisle. We went there to find none on the shelf. So rather than leave it at that he did a search and found some.
I know it was only a $4 sale but every sale helps. I live in Esperance and I must say I was pretty gob smacked at the total lack of interest. Our store is a lot smaller but every customer is important.
To Dee.thank you for your patience, professionalism and great attitude. You are a credit most of all to your parents and yourself.

I Didn't think it was possible to get a bad Bunnings. But Joondalup outshines the rest In the Northern Suburbs for customer service, plenty of stock, plenty of parking. Well done, not my closest but I'll make the trip every time for the better store.

No doubt it’s a massive store but I found their customer service has deteriorated over the time. I was told to wait in aisle 11 regarding window tint films, and nobody showed up after waiting for 20 mins. Moreover I went to their cafe and asked for vegan options after seeing the big poster saying “vegan options are Now available” ask a cafe team member (please check the picture I clicked). But to my surprise the lady replied no we don’t. Before the team members used to ask if you need any help by themselves but now they are not even interested to reply. To be honest I feel terrible to ask anything because of the rude replies I got few times.
