It was an amazing weekend in Bunbury Regional Art Gallery. Matsuri Festival was held here on both Saturday and Sunday. Beautiful shows, stalls and Japanese food. Love the Taiko drums the most. So coordinated and entertaining. Had takoyaki, yakisoba and pan cake. Great snacks while watching the show. Even the rain didn't stop us from watching the show! The car show was held on the Sunday. Not many classic Japanese cars though. There was a
a Datsun Sunny, a 280Z and a 260Z on the classic side. Some heavily modified Japanese cars were on display too. Beautiful motorcycles too. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in this event. Thank you to the organisers of this event. Kudos

Beautiful experience and so so so much bigger than the festivals I went to in 2020 and 2021!

I went as Shinobu Kocho from Demon Slayer and I had plenty of pictures taken with cosplayers and fans of the series, it was a fantastic experience as this was my very first cosplay I've ever done ️️

The stalls were fantastic, so many beautiful Japanese soaps, cookware, kimonos, accessories, amazing bonsai and the lovely people at the kanji/hiragana stall were very funny

The concerts were amazing, I loved the dances and the weapon shows ️ There were some very talented people at the festival

The only thing I wished for is that their were more food stalls/trucks! It was insanely busy, but the food was the best I've ever tried. The pork gyoza and yakisoba was divine and addicting, I can't wait to see that food stall next year!

Such a wonderful experience for myself and everyone included. Thank you Bunbury, the event organizers, the stalls and food stall runners, and everyone else for the amazing day! ️️️️

Great coffee always friendly staff here and good food. Lots of choices. One of few cafes that stay open late past 5pm but note not every day. Cool place! We keep going back.

BRAG has some amazing art exhibitions throughout the year. Recently attended the Noongar Boodja exhibition of local Noongar artists. A real asset in our region.

Talented Artisans a must see. A place for all ages to visit. Neat, clean with friendly staff housed in an historic convent/school. My non art husband was impressed with a few art pieces. Natural art was stunning.

Nice rooms and great displays to cast your eyes on. If you love music, visit on Sunday morning from 09: 00hrs to 10: 30 for a music for the soul by the New Apostolic Church.

Very interesting exhibits at the moment. Need to visit more often. As a local it is disappointing we don't appreciate what is on offer around us.

Brilliant gallery with a fantastic range of work. The repurposed convent building is a wonderful setting for art. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Look at the colour of those umbrellas - they made me smile. Some wonderful pictures inside, especially the ones by Steve Vigors.

Glass is an extremely difficult medium to showcase well. Simon, the head curator at BRAG has created a wonderful space which highlights the artists works well.
Well done all artists exhibiting.an incredibly diverse and engaging experience.

Excellent. I do like visiting regional galleries. I was given a fantastic overview of the gallery by a friendly woman, which gave me some insight into the range of exhibitions. These were quite diverse which made the visit interesting. Some fantastic quilt work, some beautiful work in the Mental Health week exhibition. Josie's AFL work was outstanding. The display for 40years was also worthwhile. The whole venue has a great feel.

Enjoyed my visit and exploring the artwork.
Some collections were quite good. Other stuff was very amateur, but that was just the collection at the time.
Would recommend if you enjoy Art

Part of the old convent at the back of the main street, the Bunbury Art Gallery is worth a look. Its a great supporter of local artists and runs classes as well in art techniques. Not always populated with worthy pieces but has had some great displays from local artists at times which can be gems. Its has some local politics recently interfering with its mission but I believe the dust has settled. I have been a number of times and a great way to spend an afternoon and acquire a bit of artwork.
