After a discussion, I was told that they wouldn't charge me any excess. Therefore, they debited a certain amount directly from my card on the same day. They didn't even give me a receipt with details, so I don't know why I was charged and what for. They must give us a receipt if they take the money!

You guys have been great! The service was excellence! The car was better than my own Mini Cooper. I really appreciate all the help and kindness, it has been a pleasure to rent a car with you guys. Highly recommended, once again a giant THANK YOU!

So apparently 9am in the world of budget car rentals means 10: 30am till car is ready $5.00 a litre to refuel car For a service industry business. Lousy service.

We had quite a bad experience with them. First, they very fine print on charges from the pick-up location rate as we can't see it, as we pick-up the car from city area and they charges us rate pick-up from the airport. Then their calculations start to in crease to a higher amount to pay. When my son try to ask them how, they all come down to different answer.any way this will be the kast time we use them.

After having to wait a while at the office, I was put in a vehicle that looked like it had just been dropped off! Sand on the floor and interior, mud marks on seats and steering wheel, red dirt still on the seams of all doors, dirt marks on all mudflaps!
Is the customer supposed to do the cleaning?

We have booked a sedan car supposedly with a GPS that we have clicked and ordered in the form. But not sure why it was not captured in their system and we also did not check that it was not there. This is the first time such thing happened. So when we brought this thing up to the tall gentleman he just told us that we did not booked it. Anyway even if we booked it there is no GPS for us. We were quite shocked as we thought it was supposed to be on the infotainment system inside the car. So to compensate us he gave us a portable GPS that do not have a stand that can stick to the dashboard. It is quite difficult to drive without a stand as it would be dangerous to maneuver the car and looking at the GPS at the same time. But there was this lady if im not wrong her name is Vanessa. She tries to appease us by upgrading our cars to a higher category but it wont have the GPS. She check and make sure we do have our own GPS system to use. Guess we have no choice but to accept it because it was a peak season back then and all others car rental company are already fully booked. But we are most unhappy because the car that we took over is not completely cleaned.the interiors although vacuumed but it was not done properly. Dashboard and cup holder side was not properly cleaned too. Lastly instructions was not relayed to us which terminal to return our car. Luckily we went to the airport early if not we might miss our flight.

All these inconvenience really put us off. Dont think we will ever rent a car from them again. But we would like to thank Vanessa for her effort in making sure we have a smooth collection of our car.

Friendly staff and easy process. Not happy with the $90 surcharge on diesel. We filled up the vehicle before taking it to the rental site and they charged us extra because the vehicle wasn't full.even when the diesel gun stopped twice. Better to take a Jerry can with you and filled up in front of them to don't have unexpected charges

Good service from the front lady. She was very very friendly. And also we left out out kid’s toy, we could pick it up easily. Friendly people in here. I just wish they inform us that there will $200 bonds when you rent a car. Cheers

Do not rent from budget. Extra charge for the excess reduction fee even you clearly told them you don’t want this option when pick up the car. Very bad custom service and experience.

It feels like all this one star reviews is sort of bulling which makes stuff even more anxious but surprisingly my experience was absolutely smooth.
Insurance made a reservation for me around 10pm, around 10am next day I walk through the door without any additional calls or extra waiting, we signed paperwork on the front desk, they charged me bond (which already returned in full at the current moment) and they gave me the car. Simple as that.
Even after returning the car there was no problem to pick up something I forgot in the vehicle.

The bad behaviour, unprofessionalism goes beyond anything I have ever seen in my life. There lack of confidentiality, lack of privacy, intimidation, scare tactics and threats, to my person, over the mention of, " don't forget to take extra photos for your own records of the car, because you cannot physically see the car, yourself. Also another staff member, chewing me out, for not contacting them, the day I got my information for a hire car from my insurance company,
when I was not able to get to the location and I was never told to contact them, straight away. I also never got a message to call them, either.
The list goes on, so when reviews are bad, it's not a place to go. You already have my reservation number and I have called, you have done nothing.
Violence is acceptable here and all you need to do is search my name.
These people have no intention of correcting behaviour.
What a joke.

I am still owed money by you - I had a bad experience with one of your staff, saw the Manager the following week (22/11/19) as the staff member didn't call me back as she said she would; the Manager admitted I'd been overcharged and organised a refund plus 1 day rental back to apologise for the bad service. The refund has not come in. The office is too busy to answer their phone & I am busy at work to keep chasing up or to personally drop in, again (already been 3 times). Next stop is my bank to put in a formal complaint of overcharge, then consumer affairs. Your systems are weird & archaic especially when compared to other rental agencies. Who doesn't send an update via email or text when an extension of rental happens? And I wonder how many times I've been overcharged. I am disgusted by the lack of communication & how I was treated. I'd rented a few times this year but booked my Christmas rental with someone else.

I was booked in to rent a car from this Budget location through my insurance. The manager at this location was rude and unprofessional. They were talking about customers poorly and swearing. I will never rent from here again.

Do not rent from here. I was charged fraudulent charges on my credit card in the United States when I am in Perth Australia. Overcharged me, and currently in dispute over 2 months and still no refund available. Hang up the phone, poor customer service. Go elsewhere

Never hire the car from Budget Rental. Once they have your credit card details they will rip you off. My bond money was refunded within 3 days of returning my vehicle but after 9 days they sent an email about damage and deducted the repair money from my credit card.

15 minutes and 4 different people before I got transferred to Perth branch who then hung up on me. Was only trying to find out if you hired a truck with a tow bar.
