Budget Car & Truck Rental Mandurah

I have been renting a car from Budget Rental for the last 2 months. They are very friendly and helpful. It's a pity their car cleaner can't clean the windows properly, though. All the cars I have rented, the windows aren't clean and I've had to clean them myself. Really not impressed with that.

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff, I had to lodge a complaint with head office, they are borderline abusive here - save yourself the hassle and book elsewhere

Miserable receptionist, miserable receptionist, unpleasant atmosphere and did I mention the miserable receptionist?

Several unfortunate dealings with this company and all of them excruciating and painful mostly because of the attitude of the front of house staff.

The vehicles however, are spotless, seemingly well maintained with no problems at all!

It took me 5 minutes for me to be processed.

Budget car rental provided my RAC car insurance car after my car went in for repair, very professional and helpful, we were given a virtually new Mitsubishi SUV which was fabulous. Very quick and painless pick up and drop off. Pleasant and cheerful staff who took the time to ensure we were confident driving their vehicle. Would recommend to all.

Waisted my time trying to book a truck but after pizz farting around on your website all it offers is utes. If you dont hire trucks then perhaps revisit your SEO to not bring people to your site to waist there fricken time.

What a disaster … I was left “high & dry” … NEVER AGAIN! My credit card was no acceptable even though not 24 hours previously I had rung this very branch to confirm the booking. I was told I would require a $100 bond which would be charged to my credit card. I clearly advised them about the status & type of card I use and they never had the courtesy to tell me that they do not accept Australia Post Master Card Pre-Paid cards.
What I am upset about is that they made no effort whatsoever to assist a 70 year old man to get home.

Both staff are arrogant. Didn't want to deal with customer service. One was on a personal call for 5 minutes. Then refused to provide a car because I wasn't comfortable providing my employment details considering the car was through my insurance. I 100% do not recommend them.

Not impressed, charged me 8litres of fuel for 46km. That means the Fuel consumption of the car was 17L/km. Kia Rio.
And according to them that was a fair charge.

Very professional quick service, car was clean and ready to go. Return was very quick and easy.

Terrible service. Ended up walking away without a hire car. Mae sure you have 10 forms of I. D.more than any government agency asks

Needed a car on short notice. Went to them and could not get car without my credit card.
Had drivers licence and card on my phone as we all do in today's technology but still could not get a car.
So mad at them. Will never use them again.
Change your policies budget.get with today's technology.

ASOLUTELY appalling, the old grey haired woman working at the counter was beyond rude, I walked into this business with my mask on to collect a vehicle and the old woman did NOT wear her mask while attending to my enquiry. She had no idea what she was doing, was rude and snappy, I guess it was getting near her nana nap time!

NEVER again would I even consider using this three ring circus for a rental! When a vehicle is pre booked, IT IS PRE BOOKED, she should have retired years ago!

UPDATE: The following monday I contacted the branch manager Darren and explained to him what had occurred, he was great and corrected the situation, he was very polite and helpful and listened to my complaint, he said he had viewed the CCTV and the old woman would be reprimanded. A little courtesy and understanding can go a long way in customer relations, and I believe Darren took my complaint seriously and he dealt with it in a friendly and efficient manner! Suffice to say I feel a little more confident dealing with Budget Mandurah!

I hired a car from Budget Mandurah for several weeks. The car went back to them some 2.5 weeks ago. I have just checked my bank to find that they have unlawfully deducted 321 dollars from my account. When asked what was going on, I was sent a confusing little grid of figures, colour coded differently with differing amounts. I have asked the manager there, to send me a list of monies paid and a list of their charges. He has refused. Saying I need to check my bank statement! I have told them they will be hearing from my lawyer if this does not happen. I find the Manager there to be deceitful and deliberately confusing. I will never hire from Budget again!
Manager has now answered my review; saying they have invited me in there to go over the charges. That's just fine Darren, but I have requested that you send me a detailed page of the dates and monies taken from my account. You have taken money out. Pending.then left it in the bank.then taken an amount when it suited you! As I have stated, you and budget have been deliberately confusing and I believe, deceitful! Now taken further funds from my account 2.5 weeks later. This is being investigated at the bank. Then I will take it further. People need to be aware of shifty dealers.
Now I've realized that the Manager there used my bank Numbers and not my card, so that the Bank would pay it. I asked the Bank why they paid it when there were no funds available in the account; They stated that the sneaky arse used my actual Account Number and BSB. He attained this when I sent through a screen shot to let him know the funds were available from a previous week, when it had to be paid. He saw the actual bank details and illegally used them. So people beware of this company in Mandurah.

Needed another vehicle since someone ran into mine, insurance cover included a rental. First class experience from Budget when so much else was going pear shaped. Great stress reliever. Thanks team.

BEWARE The Manger of this branch does not adhere to the Terms and Conditions of the parent company in terms of where the vehicle can and can not be driven but you will not find that out until you go to pick the vehicle up. In my opinion this practice is highly inconvenient and deceitful.

Absolutely horrible man in charge! Lacks respect and office lacks processes. Wasted an entire afternoon to get the required paperwork for car rental to be told that i needed 4000 in my bank to hire a car. Ive rented from budget fremantle multiple times without any problems, my customer record is good and I'm an RAC member yet this office refused to look up my name and instead treated me with complete disrespect. Requested things hire companies never ask for nor do they have the right to ask for. Dont waste your time! The man in charge here is horrible and seems to love belittling females. I lost money and entire afternoon and my pride. Was lied to and treaed like scum. All because I decided to hire a car to take my son out this weekend instead of being stuck at home while RAC replace my rims and tyres. Disgusting experience.

Wasn't informed of the hidden fee which ended up being taken out of my bond. Called up politely to try and sort it but just got turned down. Wouldn't hire here again

Very affordable car rental, the lady at reception was very friendly, with great customer service skills.
