Budget Car & Truck Rental Esperance Airport reviews
2 Hired a decent vehicle from Avis Esperance Airport. Very conveniently located right in the bag collection, arrival or departure lounge. Staff was friendly and could easily deal with the queue of people trying to get their vehicles as soon a possible.
Vehicle was clean and neat. Pretty new model and in my view very affordable.
Pro Tip: Check the on travel. I took photos when I left from the airport and arrived back at the airport. Over 3 days I drove exactly 300km. Bang on my allowed I’m. I refueled in town before I returned the vehicle. I got charged for excess km. Did not complain as the vehicle was awesome and few $ won’t break the bank.
The last top: Do not drive on a beach with the vehicle. I also did not BUT was charged $50+ for driving on the beach. Only place I was near a beach was in Esperance when I stopped tarred road. I did turn around on the tar, and there was sand there on the road, but I still got charged the extra $50 for beach driving. Other than that, great experience. Vehicle was pretty new with around 10 000km on the clock.

What the hell?
I paid in advance with Rentalcars.com (through Booking.com), which were both fine and great. I came back from vacation and this company charged me £141.81 - no email explaining why. I contacted them, they said it was for me to contact Renalcars, I emailed back saying Budget charged me and I had no email reply. Raised an Amex dispute, and had my account credited from Budget.
This happened March through to June this year. Well Budget have just charged me £66 for no reason two days ago. Again, no email, and no reason why they should be charging me.
I've raised another dispute with Amex and asked that when it is concluded and I'm credited again, that they block Budget from charging me further.
Remember to check your statements, beware!
EDIT - customer service quickly reached out to me and explained the issue and their mistake. It was for extra miles incurred.
I appreciate their now speediness in explaining. In the future it will help to submit email explanations for further charges to the customer.
