Brumby's Margaret River reviews
24Staff was rude and unprofessional and refused to remake or refund a coffee that was not up to scratch. Manager was confrontational and was treated with hostility. I would avoid this place
It wasn't anything special. Just about as average as you would expect from a National franchise. The staff could have been friendlier and there could've been a more friendly atmosphere. The food was okay, but not great. The place is missing heart.
Bakeries aren't well regarded for their internal atmosphere. That's no shocker, given the purpose of a bakery, however this particular one has a pretty annoying hum inside that's rather deterring to actually stay and eat at.
It's perfectly tolerable and the food is nice, however it's overall less than desirable.
They are very accommodating and friendly to tourist and foreigners like me
Tasted two different flavors of coffee. Both exceeded the expectation.
Toasties, wraps and croissant tasted so good.
Still in the area so I’ll make sure to drop by and try something else from the menu before I leave town
Service slow & food (toasted bacon/egg s/w & H&C croissant) went into the bin……worst breakkie we’ve had in the region……coffee was ok.
Good coffee, amazing food and friendly staff are just a few things that brumbys Margaret River do amazingly well. The are open through out the day.
Typical little cafe and bakery. Twice we have been and received service that was lacking. The lady wasn't rude but I felt like I was an inconvenience. Although with staff shortages all over I'm not surprised and don't hold it against the business. Coffee was nice and so was the Danish.
Great coffees, love the toasties, and you can't beat the prices. First time visiting Margaret River and their service and food have made them my go to cafe/bakery.
Had a very mediocre coffee & toasted sandwich there recently & noticed staff (3) continually on iPhones not noticing that customers were waiting and a cafe whose tables needed cleaning off as well as floors that appeared not to have been cleaned for some time.just a very dirty uncared for cafe with staff completely oblivious to…. I know what I’d be doing if I was owner & that’s ban the use of iPhones whilst on duty & give clear & concise orders as to thei list of duties. Sorry, but I wouldn’t be paying ppl to run down my business. Can’t believe you’re not aware of all this.
Guys, your staff need to wear gloves when handling loaves (not just when people are watching). And hair should be in a bun with a net, perhaps a bit of training is required? The cakes were nice though!
Extremely rude staff with no idea of basic customer service skills also the female barista is completely unprofessional back chatting passive aggressive don’t go there please
Weird. Guy at the till had absolutely no clue. Clearly he was still in training, understandable, but why is he serving alone? I said multiple times CHICKEN BURRITO. And pointed at it. When we left, it was an egg burrito Our food got given to us stone cold, no offer of it being heated. All staff looked miserable and it was very busy. Lucky i don’t live in Margs so I won’t be back!
I asked for a soup and it came with a baby inside of it and bread roll smacked me in the back of the head.not kool
Food was good but no so great. Staff especially the short curly hair girl was so rude and no manners at all. Probably they are getting too much customers now and they don't care about customer service any more
The food was average but the short curly hair girl was very rude and unprofessional I ordered a custurd tart and the girl threw my tart across the counter and it broke my tart in half she then refused to get a new one. I am very disappointed.
Good food slightly overpriced, horrible service from short curly haired girl who tried to drown my child in the soup and then threw my breadroll across the cafe
I got thrown across the cafe, ended up in a hospital with a severe concussion and crazy medical bills, not happy
Just witnessed the curly haired staff member yeet a baby into the soup of the day and then throw a bread roll across the cafe at another customers head would not recommend, however food was not bad
Good service, good coffee, meat pie and Eccles cake OK but hubby's vege pastie and spinach and ricotta rope were underfilled and mostly soggy pastry. The S R Rope more so as it was heated in the microwave then forgotten. No, we wont revisit.
In a serene town in Margaret River, you would not have missed Brumby's. A cozy cafe serving pies, pastries, bakery food and a must-have - nicely brewed coffee.
