Brumby's

Paid $7 for a loaf of pane di casa. Outrageous price for a very, very ordinary loaf of bread. Place is also very dingy. Recommend pasta or rice instead of Brumby's, Inglewood bread.

SImple yet affordable baked goods, staff are wonderful too! I had the double choc hot cross bun. Decent chocolate taste and good bun texture! Recommend heating up the bun before eating!

I love this bakery and have been a patron for over a decade. The product standard however is declining in my humble opinion. I love the jam donuts. Two weeks ago they were donuts with a small dollop of jam. Today they had lots of jam but were flatter and undercooked on the bottom half. Last week I also bought a spinach and feta twist which surely was a twist without the spinach and feta apart from a bit on the top.
Now I have relayed my issues with the wait staff who said they would tell the baker. My suggestion is that they take feedback seriously and take the customers details and get a person in authority to respond.

This morning we got two BLTs. Mine was inedible because the lettuce clearly hadn’t been washed and was covered in dirt. Gross…And a health hazard.

Weird how you are offered a birthday reward for a long finger bun, but when you go there, they don't sell them and can only offer you a small square iced bun.

I was served buns from a lovely young lady named Eliza. She provided excellent service with a smile on her face. 5 stars!

Break down of product: Pie filling consists of 1 dessert spoon of currants and sultanas mixed with a spice, not even tasty.
Perhaps bakers could check on proper fruit mince recipe.
Outer crust cup which contains the 1 dessert spoon of filling is almost 1 cm thick.
The top of pie is, 1cm thick.
The entire single pie weighs 80gms each
No flavour the after taste screams Bi Carb

I bought an apple pie with filling by accident just to withraw cash (aldi's useless). To my surprise, that apple pie was sooooo goood! Do you have a bigger portion of that thing!? I need more! Hahah

overall rating is 3? And looking at the comments seems that they just want more variety of their preference? Really? Do you own the business? If you cant find one here, find a place that offers it.this place is so undeserving of the poor rating.i can attest to the quality of products and amazing staff of this place.

Various breads but lacks the other sweet goods like chocolate croissants, finger buns that Baker's Delight always have in store!

The last three purchases have been a huge disappointment.i have purchased 2 gourmet steak and mushroom pies the filling was bland and the pastry dried out on both. Yesterday purchased a mini wholemeal loaf, this was very dry, not fresh. So no more shopping for me here.

Tucked into a great little collection of shops on Tenth Ave in Inglewood Brumby's has a great selection of freshly baked bread items. They do a couple of excellent fruit loaves and I can also recommend the cinnamon buns, iced buns & their sausage rolls. Convenient for locals, parking is limited however there is more next to the shops. Currently they have set a limit of two customers at a time inside, you may have a brief wait outside. I had no wait today when I visited shortly before 11am, however I have been there and have had to briefly wait outside. Also there is a construction site contained opposite to the shops, obviously this is temporary and it appears to be nearing completion.

Love the breads and pastries at Brumby's easy to call into plenty of parking space available kind friendly service from all staff members! Great to call in and pick-up cakes and pastries on the way to Mums for lunch! My Mum loves Brumbys too!? ‍️

Pretty dissapointed when i came in last week to get a coffee but was told the coffee machine had been switched off an hr before closing.

Bought one of their 'gourmet' pies at lunchtime. The only thing gourmet about it was the price.

Cheap nasty mince, dry pastry - Coles pies are better and half the price! (and that is not meant to be an endorsement of Coles pies.)

Never had a bad experience with this store. Fresh bread and rolls await (my kids love it). The apple turnovers are fantastic (and hugely filling and huge in size!). Great for buying am or pm teas.

This is just the best bakery!
We live 250km from this bakery & have to phone in an order because they have usually sold out of what we want.
Gr8 date cakes, pies, sausage rolls, cakes. All soooo yummy. Very friendly staff.well done Brumbys Leederville.

The staff are very friendly and quick. I buy rye sour dough or wholemeal bread and it is always fresh and sliced the way I like it which is thin for sandwiches.

My regular for bread as I can take my own container to save plastic and it has no additives. Sadly, no soy milk for coffees.

I often go to this Brumbys to buy bread rolls and have always had a good experience. They do great bread. Not sure what the negative feedback about service stems from since that has not been my experience on the weekends. In fact it has been quite the opposite.

Chatter, chatter, chatter! Can the staff just stop chattering and get on with it? I haven't got a lifetime to spend waiting on slack customer service people who just want to yak. I have been a regular at lunch for years but no more. Preferential service, bad language, disarrayed food displays and appalling staff presentation - what's not to like about the place? I'd give zero if I could for Brumby's Inglewood these days.
