Brookside Vineyard reviews
21Absolutely amazing restaurant with 5 star food and service. Love the location, so beautiful. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
Absolutely fantastic! Had such a beautiful, memorable day with friends and family. Food, wine, service and setting were just brilliant. Sat outside &
and loved the view and bird life - just so peaceful! Can’t wait for our next Brookside lunch.
Hi Jocelyn,
Thank you for a truly wonderful lunch experience yesterday. The food was divine and service excellent. We had two vegetarians in our group of 11, including myself, and it was a breath of fresh air to have more than one option on the menu. It was very difficult to decide. Choice is an infrequent experience so it was truly delightful to have this privilege.
Thanks again and look forward to returning and especially eating in the garden area next time.
Regards,
Trish & Graham
A great place to visit for a tasting or lunch, however if you would like lunch it's best to book as they are often booked out.
Great, honest food in a brilliant rustic setting.
Service was honest, friendly and accommodating
I was delighted when Jocelyn rang me to say they had had a cancellation and could accommodate us for Fathers Day lunch the following day.
The drive to Brookside thru the delightful Bickley hills is beautiful and the rural property is charming.
The staff were all friendly and helpful.
The Fathers Day menu was a fixed price at $69 per person, more than we would usually pay, but then at our advanced age we wouldn’t normally consume 3 courses! So I was relieved when told we could take home anything we couldn’t eat.
The French bean soup was hearty and full of flavour. The confit duck was delicious and melted in the mouth. The lentil and carrot base with its slightly sweetened sauce was the perfect accompaniment. The proportions were generous and I took half of it home for my supper. The rhubarb and raspberry cobbler was lovely and fresh, it’s tartness set off by the most beautiful ice cream.
All in all a delightful meal for a very special occasion.
We’ll be back.
Stumbled across this beautiful place on a Sunday afternoon. I have never experienced such terrible service. We came for lunch after a hike. And have being judged badly for our looks by the blonde woman (assuming she is the manager) we asked for the menu and being told that they don’t serve burgers and fries! Fair, but there is a way to explain to your customers! It’s such a pity when such a beautiful place has such a backward and toxic culture.
Service doesn’t even deserve a star
We last came here in the summer and sat under the trees. It was awesome and the meal was great. However, came here today and it was so chilly. We were showed to a table under the trees which was inappropriate for this time of year. We were told we could go into the Shed at the back, but there was no one there when we arrived and no atmosphere. We were given 2 blankets between 3 of us. The food was great but got cold quickly. Would have helped if there had been some outdoor heaters.
Great friendly service, awesome atmosphere, food was fantastic, especially the stake. Wine was of great quality. Highly recommend this place.
The food was absolutely amazing- couldn't fault a thing! Lovely, cosy dining space, friendly service and I loved that you could try the wines before deciding what you'd like to drink. The property was beautiful, especially in the winter with everything lush and green. Looking forward to coming back in the warmer months and experiencing the alfresco dining!
Mother's day lunch was perfect. Authentic settings and views. The staff were nice and welcoming. The food itself was excellent. Everything was absolutely fantastic! We were all reluctant to leave the place
And just about 30 mins from Perth.
It's not very often I post on social media, however Brookside well and truly deserve this one. We held my son's wedding their on Sat 2 April. First the venue is outstanding, all the small (often overlooked) things that make an occasion special were taken care of by Brookside. The food was first class, I'm not a wine drinker, but by the way people were drinking it, it seemed pretty darn good from where I sat. The staff were terrific, always ready to go that extra mile, always happy smiling and ready to help and answer questions. I cannot thank Michael and Jocelyn for the way we were looked after, and if that wasn't enough Jocelyn had no hesitation in bundling 3 of us in her car and taking us back to our accommodation because out taxi didn't show up.talk about 'above and beyond'
Thank you all so much.
Well aren’t we just the luckiest bunch of trekkers to make it to Brookside after a hike in the nearby hills. When you sit under the goldy-green willows it’s as if you’re in a fairytale. You know how the food and drink always looks so good in those kinda picture books? Yeah, well that’s exactly what I experienced in REAL LIFE. Huge recommend
We had a wonderful lunch here at brookside secluded outdoor or indoor settings the food was amazing and the service just as good.
Definitely worth a visit we will definitely be back
A fairytale come true! Dining at Brookside was such a pleasurable experience. The drooping willows were enchanting and inviting. They offered a calm setting to enjoy the gorgeous food and wine - which did not dissapoint! The Fumé Blanc was a particular favourite at our table. To top it all off, the service was warm and friendly. Highly recommend!
Gorgeous surroundings. Great wine, welcoming and knowledgeable owners and great food in accompanying restaurant.
Absolutely beautiful gardens, we just stopped in for a wine tasting which was lovely, but the garden on the drive in is fantastic and would be great for wedding photos.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and don't forget to book if you want to come out for lunch!
Picture perfect, lush and peaceful and there are some great wines here. Also the food is pretty awesome too.
Pictures surrounding, good food, friendly service,
make sure to book.
