Sorry to read a review that reflected my issue 5 months ago, sad that the problem still exists

Do not buy sausages from The British Sausage Co.over the last 6 months I have tried the Caramelised Onion (5 times) & Beef Sausages once. In EVERY INSTANCE they have contained almost a cup of yellow fat & that is not including all the fat that splatters all over my cook top. In addition, while their packaging claims “they may contain SOME gristle the sausages are full of it. I did want to support the company hence my reason for trying their products six times thinking I may have just got a bad batch however, each time I have encountered exactly the same problem. Normally I would not bother writing a Review & simply not waste my money again but I believe, in this demanding economic time, when we are looking for value for money, The British Sausage Co.is failing miserably. I certainly will not recommend them to anybody & will never buy another product made by their company.

Your beef sausages taste exactly the same as the low grade coles/woolworths ones so why would I pay more?

What happened? Just had some Cumberland tonight with the made in Queensland logo on.
Bland and completely different texture.
Where can I purchase the original? WA?

Just tried the Cornish pastie absolutely the worst tasting pastie I have ever tried two bites then in the rubbish bin no taste no pepper!

Great sausage and pork sausage rolls, thank god for this company and at last a real tasty pork pie, please don't stop making them

Used to be good, tonights Angus Beef with caramelised onion sausages had large pieces of bone in and what looked to be a fingernail attached to meat. It probably was not a fingernail but who wants to find something like that in their food?
The last lot we got were pretty gristly as well. Not recommended.

No I will not contact. Going by older reviews here, you have had numerous reports of gristle and other unsavory bits in the meat for ages. Unsure of use-by date as the plastics in the bin. Was bought from Darch IGA I believe.

Haven't tasted bacon like this in years. Beautiful! Like bacon used to be when I was a kid (long time ago). Other bacon these days is such rubbish I had given up buying it. Then I discovered back bacon from the British Sausage Company. Best bacon ever, superb! Not only does it taste great, but smells lovely cooking as well, just like bacon used to in the old days. Now I am buying British Sausage Company bacon every week and it is a real treat. Love it. Thanks for this wonderful product. Thanks also for supporting Aussie farmers. Yet to try the sausages, but I will. Lucky to be able to get this bacon in Coles Hamilton (SW Victoria). For those reading this review, have a look at the history on the British Sausage Company website too, it is interesting. Don't ever change a thing about this bacon please - you've won me! The taste is everything! I suspect others manufacturers cut corners but British sausage Ham and Bacon have a quality product you can count on. Thank you

Brilliant bacon, LOVE it as part of my Sunday breakfast; doesn't curl up, shrink or spit at you while it's in the pan (like some other brands do because of the added water). Nice crispy rind on it as well.

The pork, beef and Cumberland sausages are great too. Just wish that my local supermarket stocked the full range.

If only they did a haggis - because I would buy that too. Keep up the great work!

I don't know how you could call your black pudding what we purchased was all oatmeal, wheat and barley, My Grandfather was a butcher and his black pudding had meat in it yours after cooking and tried to cut up was moor like a red porridge.
Not happy after paying $16 and will not buy them again, I wouldn't give it one star but i had to to poste.

Enjoyed your AUSSIE bacon and happy to support your product instead of mostly 10% aussie pork products in supermarkets

The folks there are very friendly and seem upbeat and positive. Premises are very clean and they care about their community.

I love that your bacon is 100% Australian and raw cured. You can really taste the difference and it cooks up beautifully.

Have been a loyal fan for years, but no longer. New packaging is fine (happy about less waste), but contents are 50g less than before for the same price, and sausages seem much more processed - rubbery even. Cumberland butcher bag bought from Coles.

Truck plate 1GIO542 with trailer plate 1TOM533 south bound on Tonkin 30.10.2020 @ 6.39am just cut infront of 2 x cars and sat in the right lane holding up traffic. Great way to advertise your business. Driver was not aware of his surroundings at all.

Reminds me of a good old english fry up! Fantastic quality, fresh and a wide range of tasty snags and ham.always good value, and 100% quality.

British Sausage products are my go-to for tasty sausages, bacon and ham. The Cumberland's are always on the shopping list. Highly recommend.

I am home again! The Cumberland is just like I used to get from my local butcher in Northallerton in Yorkshire. The Raw Cured Bacon and the Black Pudding is also excellent. Thank you!
