7PLEASE do not send your loved one here My poor Mum was in transition “care” here & was an extreme fall risk. She fell over 3 times within 3 weeks! The final fall resulted in a completely broken hip & palliative care as a result They only care about the money! The ENTIRE Brightwater corporation is absolutely disgusting! Before this incident I actually worked in the Head Office but for only 1 day because I couldn’t go back as their behaviour goes against my morals and values. DO NOT GO TO BRIGHTWATER!
Removing my grandmother with nowhere to go, saying we must look after her even though her medical report says we are not allowed to and she must remain in full time care. They are showing little regard for her well being. Not to mention how rude one of the social workers were to in the process. Horrible place!
My 91yo mother, Betty, was placed at Banksia House at Brightwater Kingsley in a Transition Care Program after a fall & 4 week stay at Joondalup Hospital. While at Joondalup Hospital, my mother lost all mobility. After just 7 days at Banksia House, Betty had developed a level of mobility which was stunning. Huge thanks to The Banksia House team!
Dad stayed there after his time in Osborne Park. Very nice facilities and exceptional nursing & professional staff and a fantastic doctor. Carers are a bit hit and miss- from superb to. Food is ordinary and often very odd combinations - lasagna and mashed potato. The care dad received was good and we are very grateful.
Am enjoying a great time in this transition accomodation. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, and I could say I have achieved most of the markers which I can move back into normal society and continue my retirement healthy and wise.
My aunt is resident here until a more permanent care facility becomes available. The facilities are of a high standard, but I wanted to make special mention of the terrific staff! During our 5 day visit, we met all of them and they are caring, courteous and most helpful to the residents as well as visitors. Thank you!
