Brighton Fish & Chips

First timer, fish was fantastic but chips where cold and clagy, pre cooked, need to be cooked same time as fish, but nice otherwise.

I have been a customer for years as the food was consistently good but this business seems to be suffering the same substitution and portion size cancer as many others. I made a phone order which was 25% more expensive than the last time I ordered it and was told a time to pick it up. I arrived at said time and was made to wait another quarter of an hour in store to receive my meal which had been sitting in the warmer for quarter of an hour as the chips were totally soggy. There were only a few handfuls of them instead of the generous servings of past and the fish was half as thick as before as if it had been split in two. It’s a shame but I’ll be looking for a new local chippy

We have followed BF since they were in Brighton St as we haven’t found anywhere else that comes even close to this old icon.

This place must specialise in frying. Grilled barramundi and squid a mile from fresh with weak and tasteless flavour (maybe bbq?). Chips had no salt. Potato scallops were decent, but something so cooked is hard not to be.

A quintessential fish and chips chips shop, with great food! The fish is perfectly cooked with a perfect batter that is just the right level of crunchiness.

Place gives me the wrong food, I voluntarily return it, they accuse ME of TAKING wrong order which they handed me. Rude, offensive, uncooperative, and lucky it wasn't taken further.not impressed, do not recommend.

A great place. Generous serve for the ‘small’ fish and chips, great price. The fish was very good and batter wasnt too thick. Excellent value

Been coming here for years. Quite incredible quality.just gets better and better.the batter is their secret sauce.and using super fresh oil. Snapper super fresh and sweet, prawns amazing, all very generous large serves. Worth the drive wherever you are.

The fish, a red emperor was fresh and done to perfection. The chilli paste was divine. One of the best fish & chips I have ever eaten. Great job guys

Worst customer service. We received an order that was wrong. Owner didn’t want to do anything about it and said they didn’t care. Go here if you want to pay premium and get bad service

Nothing but good times coming here, seafood combination is great value for money and a reason to drive the extra distance for me.

The fish and chips are absolutely lovely! And very generous with the chicken salt which is a must. However would be nice to be able to buy some onion rings (instead of the spring rolls which were definitely not a repeat order)

We’ve been having Brighton fish and chips for 5 years now, and it’s honestly one of the best in WA, (I’ve tried it from regional areas outside of Perth too). It’s always fresh and delicious. The work ethic and dedication is reflected in the consistent quality of the food.

The best fish and chips in Perth, it's not hit and miss its amazing every time, My parents in law live in double view now and get it every Friday night, I love coming on Friday nights. AMAZING QUALITY
