2 Shane you are the rudest human I have ever met, Bindi has now been ripped from her mothers arms again by another mongrel human.
Do not support this organisation.
We drove to Bridgetown 30 minute drive today to drop off some washing liquid to Shane today Monday 10 July 2023.
I have had Bindi for around 4 months.they dont use the sponsors names, so Shirley. Shane today ripped Bindi from my arms and took her from us.we were not allowed to say goodbye.so cruel for the joey and the carer.poor Bindi (shirley) was safe in our arms with freshly picked woolly bush, to do this to a tiny joey is absolutely abhorrent. I do believe that Bindi will be totally lost without us.her name is Bindi roo.we loved her and cannot believe the behaviour of the leader SHANE who runs this organisation.

Found an injured brushtail possum in our backyard and felt very helpless not knowing what to do, I reached out to Bridgetown Wildlife Rescue and spoke to Shane Williams who went above and beyond to help the possum as well as my partner and I as we were very distressed. We were given all of the help + more that we needed to give the possum the best chance of survival. I have since referred many others within the Kirup community to BWR when injured wildlife has been found; and they too have all had a very positive experience in similar situations/a good outcome for the wildlife. Shane dedicates all of her time and energy to saving, treating and rehabilitating wildlife within the area and so many animals/lives would be lost without her services. BWR is very responsive and contactable when assistance is needed and I am not sure what we would do without BWR, Shane Williams and her volunteers. I have been in similar situations before within different regions of WA and received no help or support what so ever from other shelters. Nowhere else provides the love, care and support like BWR does. I cannot recommend BWR enough and a 5 star rating does not do this service justice. If you, a friend or stranger every need assistance with injured wildlife within the South West region of WA PLEASE do not hesitate to contact BWR, you will be supported.
