The cashier kept looking at her phone. She waited for a long time to finish sending the message before coming to check out. She didn't give a receipt after checking out. She couldn't wait to pick up her phone and continue playing. Why do she still go to work with such an attitude?

Bought this yesterday with one more vanilla swiss roll. Just opened to eat it. It is with mould. I was taking food from bread top over 4 years. Now i can not trust them anyway. Really dissapointed.

The customer service here is terrible, like there is no hello, no thank you, no nothing. Let alone I had to pay 50c surcharge for using a card and not spending over $8! Like you have got to be kidding me ‍.

Really bad attitude. Not friendly, but at least maintain a normal attitude to customers. It’s understandable that you are in a bad mood or feel sick sometimes, but not every time. If you really don’t want to do this business, then close it. Or if you are just an employee, you seems really hate this job, just go find a job you love please. Although the bread is good, I will not buy it again. I don’t want to give money to someone who looks at me like enemy.

Bought some breads here today.bread is dry and not fresh.customer service is not good.and after reading all the comments here I know why the bread is not fresh.never come back!

We bought some today, it could be left over from the day before, it was off, dried, chewed and I have diarrhoea. I wish I could vote 0 star. Terrible, never buy again. Everyone should stay away from this shop.

One of the most unfriendly establishment you could patronise. Was here two days ago - after boycotting it for a year due to the unpleasant service - and it’s the same, the cashier lady makes it seem as though she’s doing you a favour, having to key your purchases in. Unfriendly and aloof, most of the senior staff here view customers with scorn. I honestly don’t understand why they’d open a bakery or work in one if they hate customers so much. I live in success but I now purchase my asian-style bakeries elsewhere, even if I have to drive further.

Cockburn Breadtop is getting worse. Used to go at least twice a week and now can see flys always in the display. That's no good

I just bought a coffee and I saw she put the old coffee which didn’t smell the coffee at all I ask to add low fat milk she put the full cream and the coffee was cold

We originally wanted the mango flavoured cake but they didnt have any so we just picked the yellow cake and the name was like in Japanese so I asked the lady what flavour it was and she said, “it’s fruit. ” So I’m like ok cool. So then we brought it home for my boyfriend’s dad’s bday and it turned out it was fckn LEMON. It was a small cake and it was $70 very disappointed it was lemon tf

Breadtop Carousel is my favourite Friendly staff and a great range. Totally different here at Cockburn. The lady at the counter is not friendly at all. They don't seem to have much range compared to other stores and for what you get they are actually quite expensive.
In saying this I must say the chedder cheese topped cake and the coconut filled buns are sooo tasty. I would give another star if the lady at least acknowledged her customers

I just bought a coffee Swiss roll cake today.
I am sorry but I didn't want to pay full amount of money for buying frozen cake.

Inside of cream and sponge cake was frozen. Outside of roll is really dry like a real sponge because it was frozen and defrosted.

Who wants to buy frozen and defrosted cake from cake shop? This is not right. Real rubbish. Never visit again.

How Could you not accept payment under $8 when most for items are under $5. Its shame in 21 century when everyone moving to digital payment you still stuck in past. What about just thinking about the covid environment. Top of that your staff is not even apologetic.

Had a minimum eftpos amount. Clearly still living in 1995. Walked out on principle. Won’t be buying anything there again. Get with the times.

Rude cashier, no customer service and overcharged me. Been to other breadtop around, same service, overcharging customers and no receipt given. When I went back questioning the amount I was charged is wrong, she knew it straight away before me saying anything and returned my money with no apology. Seems like it's a pattern in these stores so please calculate when you buying so won't get ripped off.

$8 minimum if you want to pay with card. Shouldn't we be encouraging more contactless payments now? If you want to pay with card it's 50c (!) surcharge. I had no cash so had to pay it.

Food is pathetic. It looks very eye appealing outside. But the filling tastes old or spoiled.
Customer service is poor too.
Chairs and tables were unclean too. Like we could see food particles everywhere.

The bread is alright, but the decorations around the seating area are covered in a Thick layer of dust. Have they cleaned them since they opened?

As much as i liked my donut, the lady that served me was extremely rude, absolutely disgusting customer service.

Saved my day in this lockdown situation. Got my little one the rainbow cake he wants for his birthday. Thanks so much ~~
