Bread Espresso Bar reviews
40Nice food friendly owner didnt manage to have full set of food as they have it only from wed onwards but definitely come back to try when got chance
Food was ok. Not great. We watched the lady chef do most things in the microwave. Quite expensive also
I like to go to a Cafe that has great coffee. Bread is the place to have a great coffee & the food is great
I go here a lot because it is my closest to home cafe. Very good atmosphere and nice staff and service. Only disappointment is the limited menu and lack of cook Monday and Tuesday.
After a month of visiting this cafe on my way to work, everyone knows my name, my order and I have my coffee in my hand before I can get my wallet out! Love it here
About time they got some proper lids for the takeaway cups, instead of the ones with the pointy tabs that chew up your straw.
The food was amazing! Hunter absolutely loved his pancakes and Ivy loved all the fresh berries on her breakfast. They would both recommend it to all there friends.
10 out of 5 stars to the chef
Contrary to my ONE STAR experience of their sister cafe at Etwell St. East Vic Park; this cafe is worlds apart!
Exceptional at listening to specific instructions the Barista Zoey (I think) served our coffees extra hot at the requested junctures of our brunch. My guest wanted it with his meal, I wanted it prior. NEVER have we had such instructions followed in all the very many cafes attended.
Food: although around 20%- 25% more expensive than other cafes, the food was plentiful (as expected for the price) and well cooked and presentation was acceptable.
ALL the staff including Zoey, Patricia, Taylor and Jerry were exceptionally polite, professional and respectful not just to us, but noticeably, to all patrons.
Mr. Owner,
If you can replicate the menu; food availability and quality, train staff, modelled on the Como staff; train or get a decent chef, reduce the prices by 20% (or more) for a few months, THIS is a cafe to model your other cafe on. I’ll then forgive your rude behaviour, previously suffered.
Little neighbourhood cafe with a good range of food for a light lunch or brekky. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Parking on the suburban side street.
The Bread Espresso bar is one of my enjoyments when I visit the south perth / Como area … although this building and its fixtures including the furnishings are extremely modern contemporary bread espresso bar radiates a rather relaxing and twee atmosphere. The most important Thing is THEY MAKE A FABULOUS STRONG HOT COFFEE, I order my long black every time alongside my favourite muesli cookie it’s reasonably priced, the cookies are yummy as are the croissants their produce and food always appears fresh and leafy and the staff are always smiling willing to go that extra mile. What’s not to like about this place.don’t let it continue flying under the radar it’s too good:) love and blessings Amara x
Nice place!
Good Coffee from their roast on Chocolate taste note and amazing ambience to Hangout.
My highlight was their Choco Donut which was SUPER! Their Portuguese Tart also had a very distinctive taste. This place can be a good go to Breakfast place for anyone in the neighborhood.
Service was agile and warm. Location is easy to find and perfect for clear weather.
An absolute Gem! The food is fresh, full of flavour and very prompt service. My partner had the vegan breakfast and I had Bread's breakfast. Could not fault either dishes. They both were very generous serving. The iced mochas were delicious and very full of flavour. Will not be forgetting this Cafe anytime soon. Service is so friendly. Highly recommend this awesome Cafe. And definitely value for money.
If I only could give 1000 stars I would! Used to live around corner and I honestly visited the place like 3 times per week at least, if not daily!
Coffee they have is to die for! When ever I’m 15 min away from there get there to have a coffee. They make THE BEST ice/non ice dirty chai latte I have ever had!
Scrambled eggs are also just sooooo good.we’ve tried to re-create it at home but it’s never as good as in “bread espresso bar”.
Customer service is also second to non! Owner is really on board and it’s good to see that they care about their employees as much as they care abut their clients!
Just love this place.
Your sincere,
Andra, the dirty chai girl around the corner?
Great little place. Relaxed atmosphere, good food and coffee, and amazing service! Will return again for sure
Disappointing from the experience with barista named Liv.
First, they made 3 takeaway orders before mine, which is fine.
Second, a genuine mistake of mine, when she mumbled out a name very similar to mine, thinking finally, had a sip and it was the incorrect order.
I apologise for the mistake and she was throwing a tantrum chucking things around to show her displease, and expressing how frustrating it is. Then she asked me to back off from the counter while I was waiting for my correct order.
I gently confronted her that I don’t appreciate her snapping like that.
If the restaurant has asked me to pay for another cup I would. Being treated this way is entirely next level rudeness.
Been here a few times since moving into the area and looking for our new local coffee shop. This morning I walked in at 6: 22am, not realising they weren’t open, waited five minutes and then told “oh I’ll just take your order now, even though it’s three minutes early”, I didn’t think it was worth mentioning if the door was open and my order was going to be taken! I said not to worry if they weren’t open, and I walked out. Felt like I was told off. It’s a shame because the coffee has been great in the past (hence two stars not one star), and I think the situation could have been handled differently (eg keep the door closed, or invite me to take a seat for a few minutes), as I do understand that prep time is needed prior to opening.
Loved our brekky at Bread! The mocha was super rich and creamy! Highly recommend any of the bennies, but a home made hashbrown or two on the side is MANDATORY! Seriously unlike any hashie I've had!
The place is great, only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it should be "bread and wine" Cafe through the day, wine bar in the night.
Great place!
We ordered the vegetarian breakfast & bread breakfast this morning. Was soo yummy, only downfall was the hashbrows were spicy for us. I think this should be stated on the menu as we couldn't eat it, too hot for us.
The iced coffee was yummy too.
Lovely Cafe.
Went for a 3 course candlelit dinner last night. The ambience, customer service and food was amazing. We’ll definitely go back. Having High Tea tomorrow.
