I tried a single session of brain training so I can't comment on how effective the treatment is, however, I decided not to continue as I wasn't happy with the overall approach. The staff take a more psychological approach to the treatment rather than a strict neurofeedback therapy. This makes sense when you look at the staff qualification levels and experience. The audio based "neurofeedback" was very much a one size fits all, very rudimentary and they don't offer any of the pre-testing or scans that the more serious neurofeedback teams in Perth offer, simply because they haven't invested in the more expensive, higher accuracy equipment. None of this is reassuring, hence my decision to go elsewhere.

My neurofeedback journey began with a referral from a friend. It was at a time when I was struggling with a few issues. I took the plunge and contacted Brain Training Australia. Elaine contacted me, and instantly, I felt like she understood my situation. I found Elaine to be so knowledgeable, passionate and kind. From that point I knew I'd be in safe hands. Neurofeedback has changed my life, I now feel more in control of things, feel grounded and calm, and have found my inner strength again. This was achieved with neurofeedback and the amazing support of Elaine. I am continuing on my journey and look forward to the sessions, which have the benefit of being relaxing too! I definitely recommend giving it a try.

The team at Brain Training Australia are professional, knowledgable and the best at what they do in their niche industry! Elaine, the director is amazing! I cannot recommend her enough:)

I had suffered from insomnia for most of my life and I'd tried everything from prescription medication, meditation, alcohol and marijuana and good old fashioned patience and determination. Some of the above worked but none were without negative side effects. Brain Training is amazingly effective and also very pleasant with no negative side effects. If you are having trouble sleeping I would be surprised if this doesn't work for you. Prior to my treatment I was averaging around 20-25 hours a WEEK sleep to a consistant 6-8 hours a night post treatment, all without drugs. It has helped me to enjoy life again and all within a matter of months I also have the occasional dream too which is an added bonus. Highly recommended

I wanted to try brain training as I found I would "get in my head" a lot and would often be indecisive. Over 10 sessions the neuro-feedback uncovered what emotions were interfering with my ability to make decisions, while balancing my brain hemispheres at the same time! I now feel more grounded and with much better ability to emotionally self-regulate (rather than my emotions running the show). My mind feels clearer with less runaway thinking, which is a big relief! I also felt in very good hands with the supportive & friendly practitioners who have in-depth knowledge on all things brains and relationships. Many thanks BTA:)

Five years ago I had a massive breakdown after 30 years of raising autistic children. Medication was ineffective and I required ECT to function at all. I wavered between recovery and relapse for those five years before I came across Brain Training Australia last year. For the first time, I felt I had found something that really worked. As an RN I researched the hell out of it, and became convinced that this was the very thing I had been searching for. Although unable to access it as regularly as I would like, owing to a country address, it has definitely made an impact on me. In due course, I intend to rent my own unit, to deal with the intense stress we remain under, and to utilise with my children with autism. I had a healthy scepticism at first, but now I am a total convert. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose, much to gain and the therapists are the added bonus. Keep up the great work! Regards Jo R.

Myself personally had 11 Brain Training sessions with the team at Brain Training Australia and it has been an amazing experience. It relaxes my brain and the guidance from Elaine and her team assisted myself to be more focused to improve by work performance. Thanks Elaine! Cheers, Kong Wai

I have had incredible benefits of working with Brain Training Australia and am an passionate advocate to anyone wanting to de-stress and calm a busy, wandering mind. The quality of my conversations, the engagement with other people and my ability to cope with high-pressure workload has just shot through the roof.
My husband and I felt such a dramatic change that we took our kids (3 & 4) and have noticed they are calmer, less clingy and much easier to reason with. I'm not sure if that's me being calmer or them responding better or a combination of both but I would highly recommend this for kids also (nobody wants their kid to be THAT kid in class).
Here's to a life-changing process BTA, thanking you so much for the impact.

I have suffered with severe anxiety my entire life, and on/off bouts of depression. A month or so ago I went through a really awful low, after having come off escitalopram. I knew I didn't want to go back on the meds (despite pressure from my dr) so I gave Brain Training a go after it being recommended to me. I'm now on my 5th session, and can confidently say the anxiety attacks are slowly becoming less frequent, more manageable, and I feel 'stronger' and less overwhelmed by emotions. I would recommend a good psychologist alongside this, (I thought there would be a counselling aspect to the sessions) and now having found one the BT is an excellent accompaniment. It's a slow process, and I'm expecting to have over 15 sessions, but with commitment I think it can be a great tool to help get a grip on your mental health.

After trying different therapies over the years with varying success. This was the best thing I’ve ever gifted myself. I can’t explain why but it works. Joanne was amazing. I highly recommend this whole experience.

Neurofeedback with Cesar has helped me a lot. I feel I have more control over my emotions and I am mentally stronger. The test results are very interesting and proof of my improvement:)

Neurofeedback Brain Training is a very cool and interesting way to help with a variety of mental health issues and one which I support. However, although the Neurofeedback session I received was quite enjoyable, I was left dissapointed with the service provided by the therapist, lack of communication and follow up after my appointment. If this had been better, I would have been a more in favour of becoming a return client.

When I first attended Mindsight last year I was really feeling scattered, unfocused and was having feelings of highs and lows which was impacting my life and work. Since attending the sessions I have felt significantly calmer, focussed and grounded with in my self and have really seen a shift in my productivity and emotions resourcefulness.

This would be amazing just to have this as an outcome of the sessions I have had, yet what has really made this time a wonderful experience the support and attention I have received from Elaine you her team of amazing clinic practitioners. They truly want you to feel and be better and are continuously there for you to make sure have what you need to be successful.

I can't recommend Mindsight enough and would say to anyone if you are feeling stressed, unbalanced or have an emotion that is not serving you get in contact with Mindsight and tae the steps to find out what is possible for you. Thank you for all your support!:)

Lynda has been helping our 16 year old daughter, who has depression and was bullied at school. Our daughter feels she is forever “broken” and will never be happy again. We have noticed a slow change in her, she is calmer and her recovery from upsets seems better. Lynda is awesome and perseveres delicately. Just what our daughter needs
