Bowl N Bites Chinese Cuisine reviews
31Really good food! Had the honey chicken, fried rice, wet hor fun, and laksa and it was great!
As a returning customer, the Laksa is always yummy. The Fish Wing Bee Hoon had a delicious broth, but the fish tasted a little fishy
"Popped into this Chinese spot last Saturday for lunch and wow! The Asam fish wings? Total game-changers. And you can't miss their special tofu – trust me on this. A big thanks to the chefs for the amazing food and to the waitresses who were just the sweetest. Can't wait to come back and dive into those flavors again! "
Went there as per recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed.
The service is really good and friendly. The foods are yummo. Food portion is quite decent.
Will be back to try more dishes
Food was decent, service was terrible and we got charged 12.5% instead of 2.5% extra for holiday surcharge.
For a local Chinese restaurant it really isn’t too bad. The laksa here is definitely on the must try if you come list. The shop is cosy and unassuming, tucked away in a small suburban complex, but it punches above its weight when it comes to the quality of the food. I haven’t tried too many dishes on the menu but the staples that we’ve tried have been decent. Ive had better Asian food but Ive had to travel much further to find it - so as a little neighbourhood haunt, this place does ok.
This place is amazing. The staff are exceptional, the food is beautiful, proper Chinese food. We had friends here from Singapore and they ranked this place as fantastic.
Went for dinner. Not bad, decent portions. Enjoyed char away teow, mee goreng and egg hor fun. Wok hei taste was there
I didn't have high expectations at first but it turned out to be a good local Malaysian restaurant. Dishes are authentic and the price is right.
Food tasted amazing. However the portions of the lunch specials were half the size of what I have received at multiple places elsewhere. Really really small. Like kids meal type size. Therefore I won’t return. Left feeling hungry still.
THEY ARE NOT HONEST! We got a fishwing laksa and a fishwing meehoon which cost $27 together, but they charge us $29! Edit: As of 15 of March? We dine there on the 10th of April! For one month you can't update your menu? Where was the notice? None of us saw it, if there was one it's not obvious.
Still the best curry laksa in town. Price has gone up recently. But I still frequent this place for the quality and service.
FIRST TIMERS
Our family visited B & B
Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm friendly smile.
LAKSA
This has to be the best I’ve ever tasted in Perth!
CHILLY SPICY SQUID RINGS
Unbelievably so crispy & the flavours perfectly well balanced!
BONELESS GOLDEN EGG CHICKEN
The aroma ️all our taste buds!
CURRY FISH WINGS
So amazing, we went back the following night for more!
I asked the young lady what fish they use?
she said it’s wild caught grouper.
No wonder it’s so good, I replied
For those who haven’t tried this place out
You don’t know what you are missing out
TRADITIONAL MALAYSIAN DESERTS
Are available only on Sundays, I will definitely try these out too!
A credit to the 2 AMaZiNg cHEfS & their team.
Keep up the good work!
One of THE WORST Chinese food We have ever eaten.
The sambal fish had 2 little pieces of fish, the rest were HEAPS of veggies including mushrooms, the sambal sauce was very runny.
The kway teow was so bland. Had asked for it to be fried with chilli, but.none there, the most inauthentic tasting version I have ever had.
Neither tasted genuine Asian cuisine. Disappointed
I am very surprised there are 5 star reviews as I went there for the first time this week portion size is very small will not be going back unless they improve every disappointing experience
First time eating and the experience was great, didn't wait that long after ordering and the smell from the kitchen was intoxicating:) the food was fresh and flavour was mouthwatering. It was a real taste extravaganza, will most definitely go back again:) highly recommended
This new restaurant started 3 months ago. One Singapore chef and one Malaysia Sabah chef. First time there. The curry laksa was delicious, the fish noodle soup with deep-fried fish wings was delicious too. At $10.50 per dish, what more would one ask for? Certainly value for money. Good service. Packed with patrons during lunchtime. Cheers! (2021-10)
We come here at least once a week for the last few months for lunch. Thier lunch specials are by far the best value for money in terms of quality and quantity. Our personal favorites are the mee hoon soup with fish wings ($10.50) and the curry laksa. Check them out and you won't be disappointed.
Came on a Saturday for lunch, had fried kuey teow and fish wings meehoon soup, both tasted delicious. Plenty of seats available and very good service too. Their lunch specials are so cheap. For $10.50 a dish, I think it's fair for them to charge a dollar for cut chilli.
Place an order for 5 dishes at 6: 30 pm.
There were only 2 tables eating.
Waited for half an hour n nothing came. Nvm. 4 tables who came later than us were served with food. There was no apologies nvm. The table next to us arrived just before 7 pm were served with food instead. How ridiculous n rude. Brought this up with Pat. Nothing happened.
We walked away n never wish to come back.
Btw, Pat will serve her old and favourite customers first regardless instead of first come first serve.
